I will be at this game in the 300 section eating a $8 hotdog drinking a $10 beer:toast
This game is between two beloved teams.. the mavs are trying to carry their hot streak from last night over on a back 2 back while the blazers are trying to get revenge for the coal the mavs left in all the blazers stockings on christmas.
the mavs will be without Howard and stackhouse tonight and the blazers will be with Oden(Mr. Glass) Webster, and Fernandez.
Mavs are the only western conf. team the blazers havn't beat this is a big win for both teams i expect a good game mavs always give the blazers hell
:toastto a good game

Mavs are creeping back up. They could easily be at the 3 or 4 in a week and a half.

Dont count on it.
I have a bad feeling this will be one of those nights where the Mavs jumpers don't fall and the gap widens rather quickly. Portland's solid at home and has blown out the Spurs/Lakers in the past week.
We're gonna need some contributions from our beloved role players tonight. Who will be the anomaly guy?! Beloved Barea, beloved Singleton, beloved Bass? Beloved Wright/Hollins?
JET/Dirk need good scoring games as always.
It's a shame J-Ho's rookie contract expired, this team may be about the same with a disinterested J-Ho but a hustling J-Ho who can make shots, play defense, and draw chargers is an asset our beloved Mavs miss.

I'm not that optimistic about that game unlike most of you. let alone the result, that game will definitely be a very tough game for our boys in blue. last night we played a game on road with suns so tonight's game will be the second half of a back-to-back. and our guys in blue don't play good when they are tired.
we defeated the spurs at home last week but lost to hornets the next night on road, this time the challenge will be even tougher as the first game of this back-to-back was also played on road. our team will suffer from more fatigue than the did in the game vs. hornets, the only thing I pray for is our team will put the game to the final minutes and let the God choose who wins.

Should be a great game, we need this one. Seems strange that as bad as we've been this year, if we would have taken care of the durantless/greenless thunder and step up against NO were tied for 3rd.

We weren't up by 10+ against the Magic in the last 2 minutes if that's what you're insinuating.
We were up 15 in the 3rd though, and by 8 heading into the 4th.
It was a tough loss for the boys.
What's worse is blowing the 18 point lead against the Bulls the night before. 21-3 outta the gates.
But alas, cant look back, we've had a lot of fortunate wins this year so it balances out.

Lakers and Hawks...
We will beat GS and Detroit. I suppose the back to back will be tough in Indiana, but nothing Dallas can't handle.

As much as I want the Mavs to win to help the Spurs in the standings, the Blazers probably take it tonight. The Mavs are so inconsistent it's not even funny. One night they win by 20 or so, the next night they lose by 20 or so. And seeing as how the Blazers are riding high after the L.A. win, they'll take down the Mavs tonight.

A Mavs win would help the Hornets too, but I want to send Ghazi some mean PMs after the game.

Good half for the Mavs. We're making our shots, the Blazers aren't. Basketball's that simple folks.
Hopefully we can sustain it for another half.

This mavs game is not capable to win b2b games against 50+ teams

Mavs just couldn't hit some jumpers that quarter. Terry/Wright/Barea all had WIDE open corner 3's and clanked them.
Roy got away with an arm extension on one of his drives.
Mavs gotta finish this.

Let me give credit where it's due here ...back 2 back game on the road.
Dirk and JET hit many clutch shots and played tough d down the stretch this game was just as gritty as what the Lakers did wihout Odom and Bynum in Houston ..kudos! Should be great on Sunday.
