Watching the Pistons/Knicks game and David Lee is a beast in my opinion, easily the most underrated player for me. Who do you think?

David Lee has gotten quite a bit of pub and hype this year and really isn't underrate. Fans, teams, coaches know his value. Similar to guys like Joe Johnson or Brandon Roy. For a while now those guys have been referred to as really underrated players. They're not underrated anymore.

Gerald Wallace still might be underrated, but he's not completely off the radar. Stephen Jackson to me is still even now underrated as to what he really brings to the court, obviously not off the court. I think Mehmet Okur may be underrated. John Salmons. Charlie Villanueva. But aside from Okur, those guys are on mediocre or bad teams. It's easy to be underrated when your team doesn't win.

How is anyone w/ an MVP underrated? To me Dirk is overrated.

The media has found it conveniently easy to forget that he's still a top 10 player.

How is it possible that a guy that won (undeservely IMO) the MVP award thanks to Journalists voting be underrated?

yes he's easily a top 10 OFFENSIVE player. But when you consider all around, he is probably a top 20.

Paul Pierce. KG, Rondo and Allen get way to much credit and it's at the expense of him. He's by far their most consistent player. KG and Rondo are massively overrated.

regardless...he's either "perfectly" rated or overrated...he's definately NOT underated
