This has been one of my favorite shows ever since it started,13 seasons ago. Thisis is one of the few shows that never went down in quality,in my opinion. It's also very witty and deals with topics that nobody would ever think about :lmao Now it's getting canceled for a Family Guy spinoff "Cleavland." Damn, I'm going to miss that show :depressed

I really enjoyed the show but it's time to wrap it up. After they killed off Cotton there wasn't really many places left to go.

I tend to watch cartoons for the plot. (weird, I know) And I thought that King of the Hill always had a damn good story line.

Well, FOX are the retards that cancelled Family Guy in the first place. Now they're saturating their network with 3 Family Guys.

I mean, I watch Family Guy but Peter is such an unlikeable character. Plus their extended flaskbacks/cutscenes are not funny 50% of the time. American Dad is just a piece of shit.

Futurama, OTOH, was one continuous punchline. Good humor, great characters.

I loved it but killing off Hank's dad really took away a lot of it's steam I think. That guy was the best character, and if they did revive the franchise somehow I'd like to see it when Hank was in high school or something.

Dale Gribble is funny as hell, and everybody else has their moments. But like someone else said it will never be funny as Southpark. Family Guy used to be really funny to me, but they started going way over the top for me after the second season with Peter and Stewie.
So how did they kill off Cotton?

He was also allergic to shelfish and I think he broke a bone or something. The last person to talk to him alive was Peggy. And I think her last wordsto him was "I hate you" or something along those lines.

Nope, Cotton came to life later. After that, Hank went back to the hospital to try and tell Cotton that he does love him and Cotton kicked him out for being a wussy. So, Peggy came to talk to Cotton afterwards.

I have only started watching the reruns on Adult Swim a few months ago and have really grown to like it. It's a shame it is being canceled but I still have alot of catch up to do, so I won't miss it for awhile. Peggy and Luanne are probably my favorite characters because they are such idiots, especially Peggy's "spanish" eps and the Manger Baby stuff. My girlfriend really likes Nancy (she is adopting her "Shoog" speak) and John Redcorn.

For the record, I think American Dad is pretty funny. The fish and alien are useless but Stan and Francine are both pretty funny characters. I like to think of it as Family Guy without the cut away scenes. I don't know if I will be in on the Cleveland Show though, sounds pretty cheap.

Family Guy was the best show on broadcast TV to me up until the last 2 years, then the humor began to slip.
