If all these teams win....it will definitely give the Spurs some much needed breathing room going into the final month of the season.

I'm worried about tonight's game at Chicago since our starters played so many minutes last night. Thankfully the Bulls played last night as well. Can't wait till Peja and Mo-Pete come back so they can help strengthen our bench.

Yup. Sloan gave Boozer the hook.
And no joke, Korver's turned into a damn good defensive player the last 20 games or so. Good game from him this morning.

Utah's bench is so lethal. Anytime you can bring Millsap, Kirilenko, Korver, and Harpring, that's a quick 10-15 point swing.

I'm not getting the game here, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were alot of crappy calls by the refs late to allow Miami to come back.

Wow, this thing is really interesting. What makes it more interesting is how the Lakers are so powerful record wise. It's really gonna make the WCF interesting to see which team will be left standing to face the Lakers.

I wanna see the Mavs or Hornets take the Lakers on in RD 1. I think those teams could actually be competitive...depending on which mavs team shows up, of course.
If it's the Mavs team that usually shows up against the Spurs in the PO then it'd be a good series. If it's the homos that showed up against GS or the Hornets...then it'd get ugly fast.

the majority of d-will's shots were jumpers in the 3 overtimes, why should he expect any calls?

I don't think we will finish 8th. Our schedule seems pretty decent. We could choke in winnable games.

I definitely don't see the Hornets slipping that far...they're just a team i think could compete with the lakers in a 1st RD matchup.

I would like the Blazers to get the 8th seed. Thats the only team in the League that would have a size AND athleticism advantage over the Lakers.
The Mavs would get swept IMO.
Hornets and Jazz would push the Lakers too.

Nothing personal against the Lakers, i would just rather them play a team who can shoot some more shots against them like theyre suppose to.
Again, nothing personal.

The Hornets are 4th. They have a better Western Conference record. That will come back to bite the Blazers in the butt, they are barely over .500 vs the West

The Blazers are 4th. The NW division winner is guaranteed at least a 4 seed.

oh well 3 out of 4 aint bad........and at least one of the ones I got right was the Spurs....that one was of most importance.
Now we have at least a 3 game lead in the loss column on every other team vying for the 2 seed.

Do you mean if the Blazers and Hornets both finish equal in terms of records?
The Blazers would be the 4th seed, and the Hornets the 5th, but the Hornets would still have HCA if they have a better Conference Record.

I for one think that Mavs has what it takes to take down the mighty Lakers. While no Mavs can guard Kobe, no Lakers can guard Dirk as well. A motivated Mavs team can beat anybody! The Mavs always give Spurs trouble. The Mavs can give Lakers a lot of headache too!
Besides, how sweet it is for the #8 Mavs to beat the #1 Lakers in the playoff! Talk about redemption!!!!
Go Mavs!
