I remember a while back the spurs donned a silver uniform. This was not slightly silver; it was basically completely silver - and bright.

I still have the voice of a commentator in my head saying the spurs players looked like they were wearing aluminium! :lol

Can someone tell my why the spurs were wearing this jersey and if they still wear it?

I think it looked awesome. It was very shiny. Let's see some more of it!

Most fans and all of the players hated them, but I love 'em. I have four authentics hanging in my closet: 2 Duncans (1 is worn), 1 DRob, and an Eric Williams. :lol They did it a couple of seasons, 2003 and 2007 at least.

I thought they were cool but would of been better if they weren't so shiny and just a very dull kinda gray.

If you're watching the game tonight, it's the EXACT same silver as the side panels of their black away uniform shorts.

Old skool alert: it reminds me of the space suits from the black and white episodes of Lost In Space.

I thought they were cool but would of been better if they weren't so shiny and just a very dull kinda gray.

Our colors aren't Black and Gray. Bring the Silver, baby!!

I like the idea of an alternate silver uniform but the ones we used before just had too much silver. They need to break it up with white or black panels along the side.

That is a bad ass uniform, I wish they sold it at the NBA store. Does anybody know if this uniform is available for sell anywhere?...

You can occasionally find the jerseys on eBay. I'm still looking for a Manu and a Tony in either a 54 or a 56 size.

The Spurs looked like a bunch of 16 year-olds coming out of a rave. Those jerseys were hideous.

The silver material they wore in the game was hiddeous, but i've seen fans wearing almost a gray type of jersey that has no shine that look beautiful if it were an alternate..but my alternate jersey vote goes for this one right here:

Just no more LOS SPURS uniforms. We seem to suck every time we put those damned things on.

Damn it would be AWESOME if they could rock the black throw-backs with the "San Antonio" lettering across the chest.
