Keep suggesting the Spurs suck, Lakers owned them a week ago, etc. Including you spurs fans that keep bitching and complaining, let me make something clear to you.

A) I was also pissed, do not get me wrong, but you must believe me when i say POP IS THE MASTER of coaching, even better than Phil Jackson who would not have a single ring if he did not have the 2 best players to ever play the game.

B) Our offense was ruggid, yes, but what do we run most effectively? HIGH PICK/ROLL, did we run it? NO. We didn't do it because pop wanted to see other ways in which the Lakers played their D.

C) Hill > Bowen? WTF! WHY!?!!? Ok, we KNOW no one can stop Kobe, why would Pop put bowen on him and risk injury or anything? Pop knows what bowen will bring, thats why he went in with Hill, our second best defender.

So please, stop bitching and complaining, we werent going to get the 1st seed even if we did win. We're going to get the second seed and give a hell of a series w/ the Lakers in the western finals.

Why does everyone automatically assume we're gonna get to the WCF?

And your points don't matter, we lost to the Lakers because we sucked in the first quarter, if we'd of played like we did in the second half all game we'd of stood a chance.

And by no way is Hill our second best defender.

1) phil's rings> pop's rings
2)good defense can stifle the high pick and roll, maybe he didn't run it because it wasn't working.
3) Bowen didn't play because pop was concerned for injury?...now you just sound silly with that comment.

don't tell people to stop bitching and complaining when you start a thread that shows such a severe lack of knowledge...

no.

but the OP was suggesting phil jackson is overrated because he had kobe/shaq and mj.

based on this reasoning, poppovich is overrated as well cause he had duncan.

No but rings are rings. As a Spurs fan, you should know how difficult they are to achieve even if you do have MJ and Kobe/Shaq...Phil is an all time great even though I detest the teams he has coached...

so you have that much faith in pop? all signs point to another loss to the lakers in the playoffs. they've got more talent and the more talented team usually wins.
