I think the Hornets will be 3rd. Their schedule is much easier than the Rockets. Also, Nuggets will finish 4th unless the Jazz can improve on the road. Nuggets have a much easier schedule than the Jazz. The Jazz are better, but they need to win some tough road games coming up.

Nuggets have a cupcake schedule i see them at 4 or 5 and so do the Hornets. Jazz have tons of tough road games and I can see them falling all the way to 7th and if the Mavs play well the rest of the way possibly 8th.
Utah's tough games left, that is potentially at least 5 more loses
@OKC
@PHX
HOU
@NOH
@DAL
@SAS
@LAL

The Jizz can't win on the road, let alone beat any playoff team on the road.

I will bet money the jazz don't end up 8th... would you make that bet?? They play all those teams that are 3 thru 8th, so i guess its in their hands but i don't believe they will be 8th at all!

I gotta agree with Ghazi on the Jazz.
Spurs and Jazz have, by far, the hardest remaining schedule. Then it's Rockets & Mavs.
Denver, Portland have the easiest and the Hornets are pretty cushy too until the last 4 games against DAL & SAS.
The Suns have almost 0 chance of getting into the Playoffs unless there's a monumental collapse by 1-8 teams. Suns are also one of those teams with a difficult remaining schedule. I have a feeling the Jazz are gonna leave the door open for the Suns though.

If this fucker doesn't start playing better soon, I'll get rid of it.
I still think he will pick it up before this season's over.

The Blazers have only 3 hard road games left. The other roadies are easy.
At home they have the Suns/Jazz/Lakers/Nuggets. None of them have won in the Rose Garden this year...0-4. Pathetic I know.
It would be hard for the Blazers to drop to 8 when other teams have much more difficult ending stretches.

I went through teams remaining schedules and came up with these final standings
1. Lakers
2. Spurs (56-26)
3. Hornets (54-28)
4. Rockets (53-29) - Rox/Por season series tied 1-1..play in Hou in early April)
5. Blazers (53-29)
6. Nuggets (52-30)
7. Mavs (51-31)
8. Jazz (49-33)

technically Blazers would be 4th seed in that scenario though ;)
but without HCA.

Regarding the Jazz, if we assume they'll lose all but maybe 1 of their remaining road games against +.500 teams (safe assumption considering they haven't won one ALL year), they would likely finish 7th/8th.
I think they're one of the 4 best teams in the West, but due to injuries amounted way too many losses earlier in the season and it's about to get brutal.
We'll see, maybe they'll learn how to win on the road.

Spurs too? I knew about the Mavs...seems like the Mavs are the Blazers Achille's heal. Too bad they probably won't matchup.
One other thing about the Jazz. They have 5 B2B's left...10 games out of the last 15 are part of a B2B...ouch.

Yea the mavs have the blazers number.. just checked and the spurs lost by 1 at the rg early in the season and then the blowout a couple weeks ago.. blazers play the spurs once more in san antonio where the dropped one earlier this season by double digits.

I have my doubts that he'll pick up his game before the season is over...just remember if he continues to suck remove the sig and make an anti vujacic sig.

if jazz drops to 7th, it will be a very interesting serious between the spurs and jazz, i think it will go to like 6 or 7 games in spurs favor.
