Chalk this one up to Pop IMO. He went to sludge ball in the fourth quarter and it cost us the game.
I realize we are without two all-stars but we would have just kept the same tempo on offensive we stroll home with the win.
How many home wins in a row and then 2 losses in how many games? 4th quarters are this teams nemesis and will cost this team the title if they dont fix it IMO.
I guess Pop was afraid he might foul out(?) he had 4 fouls. That's the only one I can think of.

So he took the loss instead? If that was his reason than it makes no damn sense.

When Nazr left the game it was 85-78. We lost 90-87. 'Nuff said. Nazr sure would have been nice to have in there when that piece of shit Eduardo Najera was getting three offensive rebounds on that one play.

My thoughts EXACTLY! When our obvious problem for three straight possesions was giving up offensive rebounds AND Pop had TWO chances to put in Nazr.... I just dont get it.

Because, Nazr is new, and he might fuck up my precious defensive strategy and/or rotations. [/pop]
Actually Nazr played excellent D so it must have been the rotations.

Time to get over this loyalty bullshit and play whoever is playing better. He had no problem putting Tony's ass on the bench early in his career when he played like ass.

As I said in my first post he was our best post defender and rebounder all game. He was the only one actually getting a hand in KMart and Cambey's faces.

e20,
That was completely tongue in cheek by me. Nazr was balling tonight, and he got benched because Pop thought Horry, who had done jack on the night, would be better down the stretch.
Here's the kicker: from the time Nazr left the game til' the end, the Spurs were outrebounded 6-1, three of those offensive rebounds by Denver that led to three Denver points (the final margin).
Glad we kept Nazr on the bench, Pop has two rings after all.

or maybe groin injuries need to be taken cautiously instead of throwing him into 30 minutes???
nah, wtf does he know,
Fire him already.
AHF,
I was just being sarcastic with you. :lol
Hopefully we can see how Mo does in more minutes and with a healthy TD next to him.

He played 16 minutes, we're talking about three minutes and forty nine seconds here Tpark, not 30.
Will you ever admit Pop fucked up? Damn, the man could fuck your mom and you'd probably be outside the bedroom door with a couple of cold ones waiting to give him a high five.

I think Pop was trying to find out if he could count on Horry and Barry in the clutch. I think he got his answer.

Once again Nazr did better than Rasho in half the time.
