His ankle was feeling better, but supposedly he tweaked his back and he got rested again.

Sean and Dick said that Tim's back was tight this morning and didn't loosen up by game time, at the start of the TV broadcast

I guess Brent Barry is not so clutch after all, although tonight was one of his better efforts, until the last turnover.

Pop is throwing games for some reason.I'm not sure why. But he needs to quit this shit now. The phoenix game wasn't funny and neither was this game. and freaking start Nazr. What does pop need from him 20 points in 8 minutes?? spurs are working their biggest fans nerves.

The Spurs planned on playing Duncan up until this morning when his back was tweaked. The worked on it all day, but he couldn't run up and down the court -- that's why he didn't start. His ankle is fine now. But why anyone would want him to play with a hurt back, I don't know.

duncan playin with hurt back could turn out bad in the long term = robinson with bad back, we dont wanna go through that road again.

He is the most important player of this team, and he is absolutely crucial for the playoffs run.

We lost to Denver, big deal... http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smidrunk.gif

As much as I hate this inane loss, it was right decision to rest Duncan.
