View Full Version : Kurt Thomas can contribute

It seems as though whenever Kurt Thomas plays larger minutes, he can put up some numbers.

I'm not saying he should start; this could negatively impact Bonner's performance. What I do think, though, is that Thomas is still a valuable piece to this spurs team. Come playoff time, I hope he get's a decent run. People complain the spurs need a centre- someone to do the nitty-gritty stuff on the court. Thomas can do that; he's a defensive player who can rebound the ball.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Bonner stepping up his game this season and I really want to see what Gooden can do for us.
Just remember that Thomas can still contribute to this team. :)

Will he get minutes in the playoffs? I hope he does.

Kt will definitely get minutes during the Play-offs. He' solid and Pop likes what he brings to the table I don't think we have to worry about Kt not getting his minutes. I'm a big fan of crazy eyes.

KT has been beasting since December. Pretty good expenditure of a late first rounder. There's no one late in this draft that could bring what KT does.

Like what pop said "He knows what to do. He doesn't need me."

Playing and mentoring wise.

Gaurantee you hes pulled aside Ian or Matty and given some wise old sage advice.

I am not expecting anything from Bonner should we face the Lakers. His shooting has been incredibly disheartening lately but hopefully it's just a slump. As long as he can rebound consistently he will be a help.

However if increasing KT's minutes mean limiting Bonner's, then I'm all for it at this point.

yes KT has been playing great lately, he has been busting his ass on the boards and plays solid defense as well. and he has a consistent long range jumper

I like KT ! When he is on the floor I'm confident he is not going to do something silly, he's gonna give a very good FG %, he's gonna get rebound and defend well.
I'm on the KT bandwagon !

The only thing that will keep Kurt out is the different matchups agaisnt guys who are quicker than he is.
