I don't want to hear it anymore, just like the Suns game would have been; this would have been a key win. While that one was questionably a moral victory on the road vs. a potentially great team, tonight just seems like emesis mixed with bile.

We had enough even without the sudden twilightzonish scratch of Tim to get a solid lead with 3 min to go.

Yet in a bad rerun of 5-6 Spurs losses this year it was simply pissed it away with poor play, weak ass hustle (poor rebounding, no excuse), and poor coaching. Meanwhile, the player of the night (Nazr) rode the pine. Horry of course got the minutes, reverting to his "soft mode".

Absurd for a team trying to stake a claim to the number one seed and build momentum.

Absurd for a team trying to stake a claim to the number one seed and build momentum.I would prefer to have Tim and Manu rested and healthy for the playoffs when the games really count, but I guess the rest of you would prefer the best record and banged up stars in the playoffs.

Home court is nice but not a necessity for winning championship...a true champion has to win on the road.

"true champion has to win on the road."

But these Spurs, like last season's Spurs, suck on the road against top teams. These Spurs will place an enormous obstacle in their path if the don't get HCA with best overall record.

It must be weird always thinking the glass is half empty. I guess I just have more faith in the Spurs than most.

All of you people with the "oh its only one game" mentality are pure jackasses.

If everyone on the Spurs had that sort of mentality we wouldn't win a single game all year. We need to win games to get good seeding in the playoffs and advance, the Spurs have really sucked on the road against good teams this year so they need HCA. :pctoss :pctoss

Again I would prefer everyone is healthy to start the playoffs than HCA. But I guess some would prefer HCA and banged up stars.

This game was very winnable without Tim and Manu. Dammit, even the Suns game was winnable. I'm not against resting Tim and Manu as long as it takes to get them back to "normal",supportable aches and pains.

But resting Tim and Manu doesn't mean the rest of the Spurs can fuck up and forget how to play basketball, quit hustling, quit playing defense, not executing. The worst is that the Nuggest wanted the game worse, and they got it. Tim and Manu resting can't be blamed for that or how the Spurs totally fucked up every which way in the last 4 minutes.

I believe in this team...do you?

If you still feel the need to bitch feel free, this is America.

We suck on the road against top teams? What you have to remember is that all those games Duncan was in his slump and we had to rely on Parker and GInobili the whole time. Of course we are not gonna play our best. What do you expect? Now that Duncan is out of his slump, I would see how we do as the real test. Against Detroit, Against Indiana, Against Dallas, Against Denver, Against Minnesota, and Against Memphis, all on the road. Those are the real tests because Duncan will most likely be healthy preventing further injuries.
