This Week on NBA TV Legends Night:
Spurs NBA Championships

8:00 PM - Spurs at Knicks, 1999 NBA Finals - Game 5
Avery Johnson hits a clutch jumper to lead the Spurs to their first NBA title.

10:00 PM - Nets at Spurs, 2003 NBA Finals - Game 6
Tim Duncan had a near-quadruple-double to lead the Spurs to victory in David Robinson's final game.

Midnight - Pistons at Spurs, 2005 NBA Finals - Game 7 In the first NBA Finals Game 7 since 1994, Duncan yet again was the driving force for the Spurs, who became the seventh franchise to win at least three NBA titles.

I have the Championship box set, and I must say, that while game 7 was the 2005 clincher, I just cant get enough of game 5. :smokin Horry went from non-existent for the first 35:59, to 21 points over the next 17:01, the last 1 second of the 3rd, the entire 4th, and the OT.

It's funny how your memory fades over time - nice to relive it again. Robinson will always be the guy that brought us to where we are now. Duncan got us over the hump to get our rings, but DRob always and will forever personify the Spurs and their integrity. By the way, it's funny how people discount Claxton's role, but he was pretty critical in that 2003 Championship.
