10-22....12 missed shots vs. the Blazers? I'm not sure about LeBron as MVP anymore...he's a ballhog and terrible at shooting shots. Anyone can shoot shots, but when you can't even do that, you're USELESS.

LeBron, GO HOME. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU.

This is only referring to his abilities as a player, I have nothing personal against LeBron. He's just can't shoot the ball anymore.

half those shots he pushed off and they should have called an offensive foul

he had a bad game, sure he's not the best shooter. but he gets the job done, shoots a good overall percentage, gets rebounds and assists, and is a leader. i personally like lebron as a player. one game doesnt ruin an MVP season

exactly why he sucks. Had he not had Hickson on that team they would be shit yet he is in the MVP convo...wow :lol

He really is riding his body to the limit. That's probably the main reason he's just unstoppable is because his body is built like a bull. Makes me wonder though if he's going to develop a real jump shot as he gets older and his body gets more worn out.

Yao blocked James on a dunk and Wafer swished a 3-pointer at the other end for an 85-68 lead.

Holy fuck....LBJ gets a triple double and made some huge shots down the stretch and OT(yes he missed at the buzzer) His running mates, Mo and Delonte, played like dogshit and without Lebron they get abused tonight.

A ballhog with 22 shots?? that aint shit. Kobe puts up 30 reguarly.

LeBron has played 36 games vs. .500 or better teams, and has shot 50% from the floor or better only 15 times in those 36 games, with 5 of these 15 games with astericks, and this is multiple times against some teams....Denver twice, Utah twice, Miami three times. This isn't a personal attack against LeBron, just exposing him for the overrated overhyped fluke he is...the games in which he shot 50% or better are in bold. Not a very impressive list. You will see that he fails against fully healthy championship contenders.

LeBron continues to shoot bad against .500 teams. 9-for-21 against Atlanta today, that makes only 13 of 31 games vs .500 teams that he has shot 50% or better. Wow that's an MVP.

In his last 17 games vs. winning teams (playoff teams), LeBron has shot 50% or better only 5 TIMES. Yeah, that's an MVP candidate right there. Good going on 9-for-22 from the floor today LeBron. I'd sure want the ball in your hands in the playoffs.

You're an idiot if you don't think that's true. The 1st half of the season they were playing w.o a C, tallest player being Haslem who is 6'8" around. Don't tell me a team with Jason Kidd, Dirk, and Terry isn't better built than a miami team

Why are you talking about Dirk? I know posting intelligent things are not your forte, but clearly you could understand we're talking about supporting casts.

O'Neal is better than Hollins and Damiper combined. Haslem = Bass. Mavs wingmen suck about as much as the Heat wingmen. The only advantage the Mavs have is at pg, which is negated due to their C being better than ours. It'd be nice if you knew what you were talking about once in a while.

The Cavs won the game, right? And again I saw LeBron hit some big shots down the stretch.

The Cavs trailed 69-67 midway through the fourth when James took over, scoring eight points and handing out an assist in a 10-0 run.

What a crappy player.

If a player jacks up 24 shots he's bound to be in a position to shoot an important one. Doesn't change the fact that he bricked 15.

The_Dude
03-31-2009, 10:15 PM
I'm beginning to think you truly are 100% retarded.

He shot poorly, but continued to make the shots when they counted. He could miss 30 shots in a row if he hits the one that gives his team the win. There is also a difference between being in position to make "one" shot and being involved in an instrumental 10-0 run, accounting for 8 points and assisting on the other 2.

You suck at trying to argue your "points". We can only hope that you hit your head one day, suffer amnesia, and forget that Spurstalk exists. The world will be a lot brighter that day. A lot.

So you would agree that Robert Horry deserves to be in HOF and is one of the most valuable players ever?

I mean he takes 4-5 shots a game, but always hits the last shot?

I honestly think he deserves an honorary HOF spot. He's one of the most clutch playoff shooters the game has ever seen AND he won 7 rings--playing a key part (especially in the playoffs) in each run. The career stats don't reflect HOFer, but hey...he'd get my vote
