55-43 Bulls in the 2nd...pretty much what was expected. The Bulls have won 6 of the last 18 championships, that's more than the Lakers in the last 18 years, so the Lakers were expected to be losing in this game.

The Bulls blow, losing 21-6 in the 4th and down 102-93 in the game now, they deserve to lose, idiots.

Decently entertaining game.

Bulls got sloppy and couldn't hit their shots in the 4th.

hey SD, explain why that perfect Spurs front office didn't put in the effort to get John Salmons?

This was a pretty decent game. The Bulls played like dynamite through most of the first half, started to look a little confused in the third, and then played in the 4th like they forgot there was still a game going on.

It is funny that Salmons consistently dominates Kobe whenever they play, and it's even more funny that not one single western team was willing to offer more than Chicago did for a player that always outplays Kobe.

Nice job Kobe on going 10-for-25 from the floor. What's up with so-called MVP candidates taking a ridiculous number of shots vs. sub-.500 teams and bricking the majority?

No need to get personal here...I was just stating that the Bulls franchise has been more successful than the Lakers in the last 20 years. As for Finals vs. the Bulls in the last 20 years, I believe the Lakers lost that one in 1991. Again, nothing personal here, just stating facts.

personal????

starting a game thread by immediately bashing the lakers with useless facts is getting personal with a true lakers fan.

listen i dont know what you call "more successfull?" the lakers in the last 20 years have made the playoffs 18 out of those 20 times while the bulls only made it there 12 times.... in those 12 times the bulls won 6 titles with a little help by some scrub named ohh i dunno i think his initials start with MJ. after the Jordan era the bulls fell off the radar never to be seen again..... WHILE THE LAKERS have made it through the showtime era, the shaq era, and now the kobe era....contending for titles while the bulls have not even been close..... there ..... suck on those facts for a while

The Lakers have more rings then the Bulls for the last 100 years so the Lakers just did what they were suppose to do and win.

Just stating facts.

Kinda like a forum poster who continues to post predictions and yet gets nowhere close to 10 for 25.

Your act had really grown old and boring.

On a bright note, I am above $1,000 for the season simply betting 25.00 to 50.00 on exactly the opposite of your predictions. You're like the anti lotto. :lmao

Now that Salmons isn't on the Kings anymore, the Lakers will probably beat the Kings easily.

I'm also surprised that no other West team picked up Salmons.

It's not like the Kings were asking for a bunch in return....as much as I dislike LA, they were obviously the clear-cut favorite in the West at the trade deadline, if your one of the 8 other Western playoff contenders (at the time PHX was a playoff contender which is why I didn't say 7), you're playing catchup, it's that simple.

If you have the opportunity to pick up a guy who has always been able to match or even outdo Bryant's production in head to head matchups, and for that matter is a good overall player regardless, and you don't pick him up for what appears to be a below value price tag, you don't deserve to win the West.

How do you know? Did Donnie Nelson say so, last I checked he was talking about how much he loves his boys in blue.

It's ironic the Mavs didn't get Salmons. I haven't seen a better player versus the Lakers.

Salmons outplays Kobe by himself, Kobe outplays the Mavs by himself.

Lakers lucked out with Salmons safely tucked away on the Bulls.

I think our guys in blue were working on a Stack/trash package for Salmons but didn't wanna take on Udrih's contract. That's reasonable although personally I would've taken on Udrih.

Mono will say we were trying to "low ball" Sacramento by not giving up Howard but give me a BREAK, Chicago didn't give up much for Salmons/Miller either :p:

Also although he's been hurt lately Howard played "reasonably" well before and after the All Star break. Hindsight = 20/20!

Howard will be gone this offseason though, for a player better than Salmons. TAKE THAT SHIT TO DA BANK!!!1
