Previews say KMYS (my35).

Happy B-day!!!!!!!!!

And this post captures in a nutshell my pain. As soon as I move out of SA and get cable, I end up missing the chance to watch more Spurs games on TV. Even basic channel in SA got my35 and abc, which is over half the season. In Huntsville, all I get is abc, espn, tnt, and all the Rockets games on FSNSW Houston, and that all equals to maybe 25-35%.:bang

P.S. d228, how much is the LP if you break it up as much as possible? Hope it's less than a $50 a month. I guess I wouldn't pay if there weren't alot of Spurs games I really wanted to watch that month, but I bet it won't work that way.

P.P.S timvp, do you predict like I have that Hill getting sole backup PG duties coincides with Manu getting serious minutes again?

P.S. d228, how much is the LP if you break it up as much as possible? Hope it's less than a $50 a month. I guess I wouldn't pay if there weren't alot of Spurs games I really wanted to watch that month, but I bet it won't work that way.

Everywhere I've had it breaks it into 3 or 4 months for the full season. 4 months is less than $50. I always buy the early bird, that's the cheapest way for the whole season. They do a mid-season deal and then an end of season deal for less.

It's an all or nothing thing. You can't pick what months you want.

It's been worth every cent to me, but I watch every game.

You might want to see what the end of the season will cost, but there's not much left. LP ends with the regular season, all the Playoffs are national and NBA TV.

LP starts the first day of the regular season and ends the last. You don't get any pre or post game.

I've had it for years. I prefer the games on my TV and I watch every one so it's well worth it for me. I'm not in a blackout area for the Spurs, so the only games LP won't have are the national ones. (Or the Lakers/Clippers which I get on the local channels). It works well for me.

Mason always taking the shot pisses me off just like when TP dribbles out the clock, but he is making over half of them, but it's still annoying that it's Fab and Mason, with 3 Spurs who could be cutouts for all they're doing on O.

Either his knees are really aching today, or Pops just gone CIA again. He looks like he wants back in the game, so I'm thinking the latter.

Even if he runs in the second half, I still don't see the point of giving him 5-10 minutes tho. Either play him enough to make a difference, or let him rest.

so much for that easy W. Spurs better get it together

What easy W is that?

When we can't beat the Thunder, we're in so much trouble that I can't really do justice to it.

I've never seen this out of Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan is at best now a role player and can try to defend the paint.

He shoots 40% from the field, can score maybe 12 points and grab 6 rebounds.

And there sure as hell is no need at all to double team him.

:lmao

At this point in time , Gooden >>>>>>>>>>>> Tim Duncan.

That's not good.

We're in trouble. First round exit.

The Spurs are playing with 1.5 of the Big Three. Maybe not even that. And we're right in the thick of things.

Hey, that's not even a hard call. That's just something that tells us whether or not a person is a realist or is a total homer.

I agree with the call as do all the sane members on the board.

Or Manu, or Ian, or Gist, or Hairston or Hill at PG, or Bowen getting serious minutes. Get away from the ledge, this team is nowhere near full strength. It is dissapointing how they've been playing so far. I want Hill to go back to his attacking self. He did drive once, but got stuffed.:depressed

Wait a sec ... aren't you a Mavs fan? Isn't that what the < stands for? Or is it >? I don't know.

We don't have the firepower to stay competitive with these teams, and this year's squad doesn't play nearly good enough defense to make up. Throw in the injuries and poor play as of late, and we're looking at a quick 1-and-done in the playoffs.

Now ... if they get healthy and play better, they might make it to a WCF showdown with the Lakers, which will end badly for us.

But ... let's hope we're wrong. eh?

Pratice what you preach, Reverend. Calm down indeed. Criticizing or even feeling despondent about our team does not equal not standing behind your team, unless you're a really simple person who only sees things in binary terms.

I still love the Spurs and I will keep cheering for them. So, I'm not going away from my team. They will always be my team.

But I am just saying in terms of performance right now at this point in the season this is how the team looks to me.

Question though:what exactly does full strength mean if Tim Duncan will be a 12 point 6 rebound 40 % field goal player for the rest of this season ?

To me, if he is in this condition, then we are nowhere near full strength even if everybody else were 100% healthy.

With everybody else fully healthy and with the lineup changes (as you suggest) and this kind of Tim Duncan, we may be at best a middle of the road team and not the worst team in basketball.

But we don't have everybody healthy now, we are making poor decisions in terms of who is playing and at what position and Tim is playing at a 12 point 6 rebound 40 % level. When all of those things are true, then we are one of the worst teams in basketball.

That entire post is overstatement, and we will not lose this game.

The team is currently in disarray due to injuries and upsets in the rotation, combined with a severe shooting slump, and although the D has been crap today, the general trend is towards excellence (by most stats we are now the second best defensive team around).

Once Manu comes back, Pop settles the rotation, and we come out of this shooting slump (signs that we are tonight), we'll look like a contender again, although Tim's health is crucial to our trophy hopes.
