Manu brings energy and more confidence to the team. There's no doubt. Tony was in a damn good mood tonight-he was laughing in the 1st quarter and seemed to be enjoying himself. I think he sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

Not really too rusty. Needs to get his game legs on, but he definitely looked fresh.

I didn't see the game; just saw the highlights @ halftime of the Celtics-magic game.....saw some of Manu...is it me or does he think on the thinnish side? I know he's slender but it looks as if he lost weight. Or is he not in game shape yet?

I'm not worried about his shot, I want to see his explosiveness soon. 4-5 weeks is plenty of time to find his shot, I want to find out if his athleticism is going to be here this post season.

I'm still concerned about him. I really hope he'll get it all together soon and that it won't take forever to finally get to where he is and when he gets there to stay healthy.

lol whose tonto?....and yeah his shot wasn't going for him early on in the season. Then the injuries just kept him from getting a good flow. hopefully...roger mason can get him some easy looks when he plays on that second unit lol

I'm not even sure it's energy. What is really easy to see is that, when Ginobili is in the game, the defense has to make it a point to dedicate effort to him.
What Tony saw tonight against the Hawks, who had won a lot of home games in this stretch, would've been much different had Manu not been there. Tim to a lesser extent has the same effect but since he's a post player, there will be times when he actually pollutes Tony's penetration space in the key.

But damn, 30 & 42 shows the Association that the Frenchman is ready to ball for the playoffs.

If his jumpshot isn't falling, all the more reason for him to slash to the basket and get FTs.. if this increases the risk of injuring himself, so be it.

Tony scored only 8 of his 42 points with manu on the court. It's good to see manu again on the court, but he had nothing to do with tony's performance yesterday.

Last night was all Tony, Manu was not a factor.

True. Manu didn't do much and he probably won't for the next few games. Hopefully he gets his game back by playoff time.

Pull your head out of your ass already. Frankly, Manu sucked. Tony carried the team, won the game and made everyone around him better. Something Manu can only aspire to at this point in time.

lol what are you talking about. I didn't say manu played well. I just said with timmy out and manu back in it gave us an extra boost. Tony had to be more aggressive.
