Well, the tornado warning passed, but we're getting hit hard by a nasty thunderstorm with some hail, pounding rain, lightning, and alot of wind. Gonna be a long night.

it was about 80 in Lubbock today too. the difference between us and LA is that its expected to snow pretty hard on Friday

There's a tornado warning on the North Shore tonight, about a 1/2 hr away. Here in New Orleans, it's just hot. And muggy.

In fact, in the last 50 years, there have been 69 reported tornadoes in Lubbock County. which is an enormous amount

lol, believe it or not im a huge weather nerd and went storm chasing just for fun, 4 the first time last year. the thunderstorms in this area of the country are probably the most intense you will find. professional chasers flock to this area (South Plains, Panhandle, SW Oklahoma) during the spring time.
