People hoarding food isn't new, but I've heard stories that its not just 'survivalists' stock-piling right now...don't know if there is anything to this, just saying..

i got the garden going and yes i have a substantial amount of food to get me by if i need it. i got it last summer, well before the economic crisis set in. i personally think april will be an interesting month

at the home depot, lowes and the garden center each person i spoke with said that garden veggies were all the rage this year and all aboot how they cant keep the stuff on the shelves. i asked each one if they had worked there for more than a year and when they said yes asked them to compare this years numbers to last and they just kinda looked up and grinned like there was no comparison. i didnt want to ask loaded questions and so they basically told me how this year is outta control

yeah, lots of people are growing their own food because it is cheaper. i guess it is if iyou have the time..
