The Spurs unfortunately won't get to take a crack at the Lakers until the WCF, by which time they will be broken and battered after having played two tough rounds. Ginobili will be hobbling on one leg again and Duncan will be out of gas. We've seen this sad story play out before and it's going to happen again.

I agree except for one thing. Game 4.

On what planet does Bryant let somebody else take the last shot?

He let Ariza have at it the first game this season...

You would hope anyways. Otherwise you know your team is done.

Bynum will come back to fuck everything up. He needs to play with a prosthetic leg the next time around

I'd have to be objective and call it for LA, but I've really come around on SA in the past two years and since Utah's probably not doing shit, I'd like to see this series. It's really a tragedy I wasted the mid 2000's loathing SA I feel like now that I appreciate them a bit more than I did, they're starting to have lost seasons due to injury. Which isn't cool. Even though it was quick, I'd give a lot to see another LA/SA series as epic as 2004.

Bynum will be out for the entire season despite reports saying he'd return for the playoffs. We've seen this sad story play out before and it's going to happen again.

I hope it doesn't but it is a real possibility given Duncan's health status. I feel certain Ginobili will be fine. Again, his bone is healed it is not a lingering or chronic injury.
