Tim Duncan B+
Duncan's health looks like it is improving and he easily dominated in his limited minutes.

Manu Ginobili A+
Well, that didn't take long. Ginobili played like a superstar in his second game back from injury.

Tony Parker A
Another night, another big game from Parker.

Roger Mason, Jr. A-
With the return of the Big Three, Mason was free to go back to more of a complementary role.

Matt Bonner B
Didn't rebound but he played physically and was aggressive on both ends.

Michael Finley B+
Hit his shots and played well on the defensive end.

George Hill B-
Got sloppy in garbage time but helped out during the meat of the contest.

Ime Udoka B
His tough play has Pop looking for him more and more.

Drew Gooden B
Defense still a work in progress but his athleticism makes him a good finisher in the offensive sets.

Jacque Vaughn B+
Ran the show well and, like always, gave the team boundless energy.

Kurt Thomas B+
Thomas' chemistry with his teammates continues to get noticeably better on a nightly basis.

Bruce Bowen C+
A defensive stopper isn't of much need against the Clippers.

Pop A-
Spread the minutes while also securing an easy win.

why only a B+ for Tim...?He wasn't playing very hard (and I'm glad for that because he needs to stay healthy). B+ is about as high as I can give to a player who doesn't break a sweat :)

I think A- is a little high for Pop. The five out there at the end of the first half was ridiculous.

So after you post the grades ST come up with, you'll do the instant reaction? Or how does it work?

I'm thrilled he didn't break a sweat. B+ works for me.

What a fun game. We all needed a night to relax. :lol

fair enough... I didn't get to watch it that's why I asked. But looking at the box score his numbers were pretty impressive for less than 14 minutes of action.

This was a fun game. The fans were having a great time. We needed this game as much as the players. It was nice to see the players relax and try to get that chemistry going. Gooden was enjoying himself, and Duncan and KT were cracking up when Hill almost made that alley oop!

Manu playing with Gooden was fun to watch. Tim looked better and happier. Parker same consistent self was ready to roll if needed. Just a damn nice realxing game.LOL...:smokin

What a fun game to go and see live. I love when the Spurs win by a very comfortable margin. I thought the grades were pretty good overall, think maybe I'd bring Ime down to a B minus though--a couple of shots that were way off. I like the combo of Gooden, Ginobili and Hill in the second quarter. Add in Mason, Thomas, or Bonner depending on matchups and that is an awesome second unit. The roller coaster of emotion is going up.

I don't see how tp could have been better... Did you notice the 17min?!

TD: 13 pts / 83 % FG / 6 rbs / 0 TO in 14 min
TP: 18 pts / 80 % FG/ 6 ass / 2 st / 0 TO in 17 min
Manu: 14 pts / 71 % FG / 7 ass / 3 st / 0 TO / 1 block in 17 min

really, i don't think any of them could have been better than that in so few time on the court. should be three A+ for me. even A++ for manu because it was only his 2nd game back.

I don't care about the "+", you just give them all the max...

well, i guess as long as we're debating about how many "+" each of our big three deserve after their respective "A", we're in good position. hope they will keep on.

but it was especially impressive to see manu having a so efficient game so soon.

TP is on fire right now and Tim was showing signs of being his old self in the last games. but from manu, it was more unexpected so soon. Props :toast
