I chalk this up as an automatic loss, it's in Utah right? I was hoping Pho could have stole one in portland, but their lack of defense and age caught up as well as being small compared to portland with the exception of shaq.

Having said that if I had a choice between pho beating utah in Pho or in Utah, I would have taken in Pho to further prove how bad Utah is away from home. (which is what happened)

C'mon now? I'm not calling the Jazz an even halfway decent road team by any stretch, but we played just fine in that game. That was one of the few road games we could've won and as a fan, I'm more than satisfied with the effort the Jazz put forth. If not the end result.

I hate Matt Barnes, but here's what he said:

"We knew we had to give more because they played last night," Barnes said. "We looked at each other a couple of times and said, ˜Where the hell are they getting this energy from?' because they were running us.

"We usually don't get tired in game and there were a few times they had us with our tongues out. They fought a hard-fought game, but we wanted this game more."

I'm just biased because I grew up in Southern Idaho and had to endure non-stop Stockton/Karl Malone lovin' til I moved to texas...

What part of Southern Idaho? I lived in that area for several years.

As far as the game tonight. I expect us to win of course, but I don't think it will be easy.

And I laugh at Shaq getting close to 40. He stinks up the arena when he plays in Utah. I'll be shocked if he gets 20.

It's in Utah, the only way Shaq will go for 40 is if he spends his next 3 birthdays there.

Richfield, Idaho, it's 40 miles north of Twin Falls in the middle of no where, well I guess a little ways south of Ketchum and the rich folks.

Got to love the enthusiasm of the Suns fans. As if there is hope for their team. They couldn't win when everybody was picking them, why should they win now? They are old, not deep enough to compete for the championship. But then again, the Suns have sunken so low, they are just hoping to make the playoffs now. LMAO! I used to remember how cocky D'Antoni was and how their players thought the championship was theirs when they haven't won anything. I got news for you - the sun has set for Phoenix and the window has closed. hahahahhahahahahahahaha!!!!

Usually when he's on the court I spend most of my time bitching about him, but every so often Harpring gives us some good minutes. Hasn't done it since we played Boston, but it's good to see tonight. He needed it or he was gonna knock somebody out soon I think.

I pity the Suns They could have been so much better without Kerr as Gm.

balli
03-28-2009, 09:18 PM
They could've been so much better without Robert Sarver as an owner. Maybe it's an overstatement but I think he'll end up being Donald Sterling 2.0

pauls931
03-28-2009, 09:26 PM
This does suck, sarver and kerr are f'ing things up so bad good players won't want to come there unless shown ridiculous amounts of money. I miss the days when the Spurs were the only thing the suns had to worry about.

He's clumsy and poorly trained. Every time he goes for a block on D he jumps into the offensive player. Offense? The probably don't even let him practice it... He's got the body, but that's about it for now.

suns lead? Stern must have called. He's pissed at Portland for screwing up a shaq kobe first round matchup.

Do you have league pass or something? Or did I f'up and it was on espn? (this thread was the play by play for me)

It's time to blow this Suns team up and start from scratch. It's going to take players willing to commit on offense and defense, and there are only about two of those on this entire team.

I'd hate to see that, but I'm not even sure where to start. I really wish nash could get a ring, but it looks like it will have to be elsewhere if they blow things up.

Offense was never really a problem, except perhaps this year with spacing due to shaq and not having enough sharp shooters. Defense, yeah that's been a problem for decades...

the suns can nenver make keystops, that's why spurs always kill them

Yeah, I got league pass broadband after the All Star break. Watched the game from work.

It was something like $20 for the last two months.

The only thing that's holding them back is defense. If they had committed to being a mediocre defensive team they would have ten more wins on the season.

I've watched a lot of Suns games where they will get a 15 point lead and 10 minutes later be down by 8. That frustrates the hell out of me, so I can only imagine what it feels like for a Suns fan.

Yup, a common problem for years. I know people rip on them for D now, but it was just as bad in the barkley years even though KJ could play some D (except against MJ). I guess Marjele wasn't bad either. they just need a little D and I thought that was why sideshow bob was brought in, but that guy just gets excited and starts swatting at everything.

pauls931

One of those MVPs was very questionable, but one he did earn. I'm concerned about this ability to pick up the offense recently. D has always been a problem expecially against good guards like Dwill and that eyebrow dude on NO. However if the suns would play team D like (it hurts saying this) like the Spurs it wouldnt' be so much of a problem. If you get by nash no one rotates and it's an easy bucket. I say dragic try to guard dwill the other night and he got toasted as badly as nash.

Nash will always get beaten one on one by dwill and deron, but lesser guards can use the pick and roll and the suns just can't guard that.

Yeah and if I jumped and caught footballs like Larry Fitzgerald making the NFL wouldn't be so much of a problem.

04-05- Youngest team league. Championships are won by veterans. Lost to eventual World Champions. No shame.

05-06- No Amare, still won 10 playoff games and lost to eventual World champs. No shame

06-07- Stern

07-08- Fluke Duncan 3

08-09- Season was over before it began.

On top of FO blunders.

2006 - You're dumb

2007 - Nash flopping like a bitch and creating an altercation when Horry's shiver really wasn't THAT bad

2008 - Let's say the Suns win game 1..........they still lose 3 of the first 5 games.

2009 - Over before it began because Nash refused to listen to Porter and created a situation where it would be impossible to win long term.

Atleast the Suns fans can still hate the Lakers.

Along with everyone else who doesn't live in CA, is an illegal, owns Yankee's gear, owns a Celtics jersey, and has tons of Bulls stuff hidden in a closet.

I am praying for the 8th seed. I would love nothing more than to knock you fucks out of the playoffs.

tough loss but dont worry, Dallas will lose today. That'll give you guys 9 games to make up 3. The Suns margin for error is pretty much zero now.

Damn. I clicked on this thread expecting to see a bitch fest from Suns fans. I forgot the only fans that bitch and whine are Rockets fans. In fact, the only person on this thread who's been bitching about the Suns/Jazz game is a Rockets fan.

There's no worse feeling than sitting in your recliner watching your team piss away a 20 point lead...well, maybe watching your superstar choke in the finals is worse. I know we won but I don't feel good about this game at all. Thank you Grant Hill for taking your eye off the ball.

You're right, that would be worse. What two superstars are you talking about? Oh wait, you're making a joke about Stockton right? Stockton didn't choke. In fact, Stockton was the second best player on the floor in both finals behind Jordan.

You must be talking about Dirk and Howard.
