LA - 27 wins 9 losses on the road
SA- 22 wins 13 losses on the road
NO- 18 wins 16 losses on the road
Denver- 20 wins 18 losses on the road
There are only four teams with winning road records in the West. And two of them are essentially .500 road records, NO and Denver.
There are only two teams with winning road percentages that are significantly better than .500.
And one of them is our Spurs !
That could prove important in the playoffs.
If the Spurs do retain the second seed, it makes it seem much less likely that one of the other teams would upset them (if it is not the Lakers).
Now, the Spurs road record against teams with a better than .500 winning percentage is something else.
And the Spurs, right now, have given little evidence that they are capable of beating the Lakers in a 7 game series in which the Lakers have home court.
However, this tidbit does give us some reason for encouragement as does the improvement of our defense as the season has gone on.
Go Spurs !

BTW, Houston's road winning percentage is exactly .500. However, the fact that they beat us at home recently would encourage them. At the same time, we beat them in Houston as well and if both teams take one road game, then if we retain home court advantage, this would favor us, obviously.
