For throwing the ball at the ref. I was hoping Stern would give him a lifetime ban so we could free up his contract.

I agree. I thought it was pretty malicious on his part. I was hoping for a longer suspension.

I concur. Posey just lost his cool out there. How the fuck does a ref throw out a player for just tossing the ball towards him (a little hard i might, but still)???? If i was the ref, I'd just tech Posey.

Kevin Garnett got away with pushing a ref last post season and Tim got ejected for staring. I'm telling you the NBA right now is an embarrassment compared to the 80's and the 90's.

You don't throw the ball at the ref because he made a call you didn't like. That's bullshit. You don't violate the physical space of someone who isn't in the competition itself.

How about I throw the ball at your head next time because I know i'll only get a tech. Ummmmm....NO.

Since it's not the first time he's thrown something at a ref, one would think they'd send him a message. Oh well, I'll bump this thread when he escalates it further.

Bad, even in all my years of playing rec ball, I've never seen anyone throw the ball at someone else intentionally when the ball was dead. Seen harse words, but nothing like this. Reminds me of when Danny Ainge threw the ball at another player when he played for the suns way back. I forgot what punishment he got back then, then again it wasn't an official.
