You can take a camera in. I had heard that you weren't allowed to take a camera with a detachable lense, but I would ask about that.

IIRC, Spurswoman is conducting an experiment to sneak a cooler of beer along with nachos, hot dogs, candy and some fajita tacos into the SBC using only her purse.

I've taken my Sony digital still camera a few times. The ticket taker/door people look at it on my shouldder, but handle it nor check that the lens was fixed, nor that it was digital still camera that could take videos! :)

my sony digital still camera, 3 years old, takes vids, but they are really crappy quality, like the vids posted in this forum, very high compression and very low video bitrate.

15 mm is all they allow that's the official word.
I usually don't take pictures since it is already being covered by about 30 people with better equipment and more skill than I have.

The people that check your things at the SBC Center REALLY tick me off sometimes. My camera does NOT have a detachable lens. We called one time before the game and described the camera to them and they said it was okay...that the lens can't be detachable and that it can not be more than 6 inches long (if it's not detachable). So we went and mine isn't that long and the woman at the front wouldn't let me in. Finally we called over her manager and we told him we had talked to someone on the phone and they said it was okay because it's not more than 6 inches or detachable. Then he said okay and let me in. But geez...the woman was a real bitch about it. Women are usually bitches to other women though...lol.
When I went to see Justin Timberlake in concert there they wouldn't let me take my camera in...and the manager man was walking me to the front so I could leave it with guest services. I said "can I please take it in? I won't get caught I promise and I won't tell them you let me. Please please?!" *bats eyelashes* and he said "ok, but you weren't with me" and he let me go! lol I got some great pictures that night!
sometimes it pays to be a female. haha
But anywho, I am rambling now. YOu can take cameras in to the SBC Center. I'm taking mine to the concert tonight...lets see what kind of trouble I get in. haha

15mm? Don't you mean 55mm? 15mm is like a wide angle lense, while 55 is closer to the human eye's perspective. FYI you can get a 500mm fixed lense that looks almost identical to a 55mm lense.

Although I'm sad to say it...it's true! I don't think I hate other women...but I just don't understand why other women just don't like other women! Can't we all just get along? lol
