I'm not sure if this is about the one here in SA...but I was watching ESPN and somebody talked about how a school named St Marys had been suspended or something like that by the NCAA I believe.

Anybody know anything about this? I'm sure it's old and happened before but I want to know what happened. It's something I don't know much about like the Joe Smith fiasco in Minny.

Sounds like the D-I Gaels from Saint Mary's College of California, and they're in the NCAA's this season.

I think that might be it...but do you know what their problem was? Or why they got suspended? I know they are in the NCAA's because they said so...but they have to give up all their money to the conference they are in. So I was wondering why they have to do that?
