Saw the commercial on Discovery earlier today.

There is a new boat. Can't remember the name, but I believe it's the boat which had the crew member fall overboard in season 4. The one who was rescued by the Time Bandit.

Awesome! We got hooked last season and spent hours catching up on the previous seasons. :)

Awesome show, although king crab sucks. That Opilio crab they catch in the winter is awesome though.

Caught a few shows this morning ...

I can watch them over and over.

Seems Discovery is showing a few shows back to back everyday till the season starter

did you ever see before the show was called Deadliest Catch (i think it was worlds deadliest jobs). they were interviewing a crab fisherman and he was saying how dangerous a job it was, he had a portion of his finger cut off while working and the dude wore it like a charm on a necklace :wow

Apparently the new version is C.O.B.'s go down with the ship. May the 7 who perished in the Katmai's sinking R.I.P., especially the chief of the boat who refused to give up on her, and the guy who unzipped his survival suit to try and close the canopy on the lifeboat. That was ballsy.

Last nights show was great!!

One wave took out 3 guys from the wizard while they were trying to tie a tarp in front of the pots. Needless to say, all three got wiped out, all of them needing medical attention ... at least none of them were knocked over the side. :wow

I guess we'll find out next week if all of them are alright.

A lot of that was captains fault for having them up there during that storm, and having to many pods on the boat. All the others were under 200, and he took 225 i think.
