I got my first review today on my book. If only I can get those loons at express news to review it, I'd be in good shape.

Barnes and Noble are in my sights this week...look out.

Actually most of the sales have come Jersey.

Is the book based in Jersey?

Pooh

Actually no, it's based here in san antonio for the most part. Although one of the characters is from jersey.

Must be nice to have money, $18 for a paper back with only 128 pages.
I'll wait for the movie.

It is great you got published though.

Thanks, you can order a copy at Barnes and Noble, Borders, etc. Hopefully, I can actually get copies of the book (physically) in the stores very soon.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Borders Bookstore and they're going to put the book on their shelves in about 10 days. They're only ordering a small amount, but if they sell quickly I'm sure more will be ordered. This will be at the Borders over at Huebner Oaks. The book will be in the local author section as well as in the sci-fi one.

Be careful, if you get caught you may get booked.

Better yet, make him pay for it for trying to steal it.

Shit, I won't even risk getting caught shoplifting. I could read that over two lattes in the Cafe', quicker than a Pacer playoff flameout.:evil

I'd be more than happy to review a comped copy of the BIQ (Book In Question).

I wouldn't spend $17.95 on a paperback unless it was personally signed by Tom Clancy or Michael Connelly.

:lol

I'm selling signed ones as well. But not for $17.95 though.

Key word there would be "comped" Pooh Bear.

Clancy, Connelly, Stephen Coonts, Clive Cussler, Andy Beyer...those are names you'll find on books I spend cash money on.

I can read you in here for FREE. Why should I buy a paperback of your scribblings for 3 times what I can get the above authors for?

Cause the odds of you meeting them are slim to none.

ASF,

Huge Cussler fan, although can't seem to get into the Kurt Austin series.

Inca Gold, possibly the best.

Pooh, what's the book about?

Latest news: (since so many are just DYING to know)

Borders at Heubner have ordered the books, just waiting now to hear back from the publisher. The person there said it shouldn't be long however. I'll be over at Barnes and Noble next week to see what I can do to have it put on their shelves.

As for Shelly's question about it being a books on tape, I'll look in on it for you, but I seriously doubt it. But for $9 bucks I'll narrate it onto a cassette tape for you.

Huh? I've never even posted in this thread. You've got me confused with someone else.
