Wassup fellas that effort was absolute garbage the last 2 games but what do u expect in a 7 game road trip toward the end of the season. The starters are exhausted & the bench is shit lately. My question is...if Drew comes back & plays well do you guys think Phil should start him & luke again? I think they need Odom & Ariza on the bench. The bench is playing like crap but what do u expect when you have farmar leading them & your running the offense through powell :lol. Pau is not a good fit for that group. Odom & Ariza make everything 10x better for that squad since they like to play fast. Hopefully everything will work out.

im no laker fan but i agree.. both would be nice back on the bench but they could get by with leaving ariza as a starter and odom off the bench.. odom needs to be the leader of the 2nd unit and keep them in order in my opinion

I honestly think Ariza likes coming off the bench better then starting. He seems a little nervous as a starter. Luke isn't as athletic but he does fit in pretty well with the 1st unit in my opinion, especially when bynum is playing.

Agreed with both of you guys. The Lakers bench wasn't good when Odom left the bench. Then Ariza left and now you got a buncha chuckers and chickens.

Once Bynum gets back, LO & Ariza can go back to the bench and I suspect the bench will get good again.

luke with the starters will work because you have kobe gasol and fisher out there to make up for him.. ariza is great on the bench and from the games ive seen him on the bench he makes farmar look alot better for some reason lol.. When bynum comes back the rotation will be back to where it was at the starting of the season when the bench was pretty solid.. right now its like the blazers were without oden, a fucked up rotation.

I also agree. But still what does phil do about shitty Fartmar and Vujabrick. Should he start trusting brown and give him more min.

Thats why we always talk about how important Bynum is to the team. Its crazy what 1 player can do to your whole 2nd unit. Im pretty sick of the long ass 82 game season though.I dont even wanna imagine how tired NBA players are on long trips at the end of the season.

honestly at this point of the season the only thing he can do is to tell those two to step the fuck up! they are capable of being the role players they need to be but they need to do it consitently, its really a gamble this late to start puting shannon in that could really mess shit up, but im not phil and havn't really watched a massive amount of lakers games so i may be wrong lol

Note to owners- once you give your scrub players nice contracts, they start playing like shit :lol. Hopefully atleast 1 of them snap out of it. If they're shots arent going in they are good for nothing. Sasha plays a little D but Farmar is a huuuge liability if he cant make a shot.

When ariza & farmar play together they do pretty well. They have pretty good chemistry & farmar reads ariza pretty well with the alley oops.

exactly.. thats what ive been noticing also, plus it helps get the team and crowd to go crazy off some nice ariza dunks/alley oops

The Lakers have a way of bouncing back after looking absolutely deplorable.

It's been their MO all season. Before they beat BOS and CLE on the road they played two stinkers in a row like they did these last two games.

I'm not terribly worried, well that's a lie. I'm worried about the bench since Farmar and Sasha are really awful, but I think with rest and the addition of Bynum things will look a lot better.

I wouldn't be too concerned. They've already clinched the West and although they're not ahead of the Cavs, they're still ahead of Boston. Plus, it looks like Bynum will be healthy in time for the playoffs.
