If Finley makes that shot...

It would have been a shame to see such a terrible team get rewarded with a lucky shot. OKC deserved this win tonight...

There is just one asnwer to this.

The Spurs should not have been in the position for Finely to have to make that shot!

really? spurs beating the thunder by 1 at home somehow makes everything okay?

It worked when we beat Golden State by 1 a week or so ago...

I don't know if that shot would've even counted.

the last 5 spurs losses have all been by 4 and under.

if anything, i find that worse because we are supposed to be a veteran team that executes down the stretch.

Either way, we're fucked... the Spurs better get their shit together soon, I can't take this anymore.

That was before Manu came back, so we still had the Manu excuse. Now, we just sucked tonight. Win or lose, I think we would have called it. We played terribly.

That was a lucky win as well...goes to show how poorly this team is truly playing to be proud of a 1 point escape at home to a sub 500 team.

If Finley hits that shot, you couldn't call it a lucky shot because that's his shot, the little fadeaway to his left. What should have happened was Gino should called a time out one he retrieved the ball in the corner.

Pop was waving 'go go go' from the sidelines... I saw him.

I agree with them pushing the tempo, but when they lost the ball and Gino retrieved it in the corner he should have called a time out.

This is incorrect either way. Beating these scrubs by 1 on a last second shot in our own gym at this stage of the season = fail.

That's now 2 disturbing losses to the Thunder in the past few weeks. Something is very wrong with this team.

If Finley makes that shot...I'm even more pissed and even less hopeful of a recovery. At least this loss may serve as a wake up call.

The wake up call should have been any of the losses (or razor thin wins) over the last month. At this point, the Spurs "are what they are"...

Exactly. If Finley made that shot, the costs would outweigh its benefits.

Pop would feel validated by the win.

Finley would replace Mason as a permanent starter and be guaranteed 25 minutes a night.

Mason would never see the ball again in the 4th Qtr as he would be replaced thanks to Finley's GW reputation.

Vaughn would replace Hill as back up PG.

Errr.. I don't know if you've been watching the games this season, but Finley has been guaranteed 25+ minutes a night pretty much throughout. And he's been playing 4th quarters also. Mason not being in there in the 4th has more to do with Manu being back than Finley.

And that's stupid..Mason and Manu should be both on the floor in crunch time.
I just hope that the playoff rotations require more Mason than Finley....

Sure, Mason has been clutch as hell for the Spurs this season, but I don't know if you've noticed, he turns the ball over, and he also forces shots. Finley takes shots that are good looks for him. With Manu back, look for Finley to be in there late in games.

Mason with the shot clock winding down to end a quarter, I wonder what he will do..!?
