View Full Version : Has Pop figured out his playoff rotation? Also, Spurs's mindset ...

Playoffs are in the horizon, and Pop is still throwing 250 different lineups every night; IMHO, I think it's time for Pop to make his mind about the rotation he'll use in the playoffs
Because, I think Maze and JV as backup PG's will not work, and he should have given more minutes to Hill to support his development.
Udoka and Bonner are still big question marks.

And how about securing that #2 spot? are they thinking about it?
Were TD and Co still thinking about that bad loss @ NO before playing OKC?

Also, we seem to have no momentum going into the playoffs, which makes me wonder about the players' mindset just before the real war begins. :(

Pop has said he doesn't care about seeding, 8th is fine with him

kinda makes sense. we have to get past them sooner or later...and maybe sooner is better before Bynum gets back.

Right now everything is out of sync, and there is not a more worse time for Pop to have his players so confused.

With out a doubt Hill needs to be the back up PG the Mason at PG experiment has totally destroyed Mace's game. Hill will most likely make some mistakes as that a part of growing, but he still has proven that he is very capable of being a solid one, and I would rather see him at Point doing that then see it completely shut Roger Mason down.

And we already know that JV can not cut it so there isn't much to say there.

The mere fact that Pop is playing JV as backup point is an indication that that Mason experiment isn't working out.

" Out of sync " describes the situation perfectly

Unless...unless....Pop is going CIA, and playing playoff-ready lineups we don't know about in practice

At this point, I don't care who we play, as long as we beat them.
