Our defense has stunk so far. We're giving them too many uncontested three's and they're making us pay hitting 12-20 beyond the arc. That's 60% and too easy. We're shooting lights out ourselves, but it's all two-pointers. Only 4 threes. West is playing with a bad ankle but has 28 points.

Pelicans78

Scott needs to take West out. He has 33 points, but he's badly limping the whole time. This game isn't that important.

So does Brad Davis.

Why? What happened?

He hurt his ankle in the 2nd quarter and he's been badly limping since.

Ah, that sucks. Lol, I really don't expect the Kings to win this, but it would be nice.

The funny thing is West still has 37 points, 9 boards, and 6 assists. Thankfully the Kings are starting to miss their 3's. 0-2 so far this quarter.

Ghazi

God Kings better win!

They deserve this win, Hornets have had way too many close wins that they don't deserve.

Paul looked horrible shooting tonight

He wasn't that bad honestly. He missed alot of shots inside the paint tonight. His last shot was a blocked layup attempt. He was great or even that good, but not too horrible.

Hornets just got lucky...not gonna happen for the rest of the season..their schedule is BRUTAL.

That's why the Hornets can't really use injury excuses.

It's tough. I have a feeling we're going to lose tomorrow night at the Clippers. We've been awful on road back-to-backs. I don't expect West to play and he shouldn't play.

Injury excuses are pointless. Doesn't change the standings. Plus, the guys out weren't playing that great and I don't expect much from them the rest of the way. I really hope West doesn't play until he's healthy. At this point, the regular season doesn't matter that much.

No home court in 1st round is likely 1 and done. Regular season matters plenty

We've won at Portland and Denver this season. I'm not afraid of those teams. Plus Houston and the Spurs aren't that much better if we're healthy. If we're not healthy in the playoffs, we're not doing anything regardless where we finish. We're just better off making sure Peja, Chandler, Posey, and West come back healthy once the playoffs begin because we don't have a big-time scorer to take over games or a dominating big man down. We're a smoke-n-mirrors kind of team, winning the uncoventional way.

basketball gods wouldn't let the hornets beat the nugs. JR and bird would have a field day.

That would suck. Why? Because I hate JR Smith. Seriously, this guy quit on the team 3 years ago in CP3's rookie season when the team had a chance to make the playoffs. He jacked up 3's, played no defense, and sulked when he was taken out of the starting lineup. I don't miss him at all. I do wish we had Birdman off the bench. He's playing really well this season. He doesn't have a post-game like Hilton, but he's a much better rebounder and shot blocker.

Do you remember those two clowns in the slam-dunk contest while wearing Hornets uniforms? Kenny Smith accused both guys of sabotaging each other. It was embarassing, but really funny.

Man, I wonder what's up with the Queens lately? First they beat Phoenix then they almost beat New Orleans?

I never heard the reason why New Orleans let him get away. He signed with the Nuggets for the veteran's minimum so it couldn't have been about money. I'm sure he wanted to leave since that trash Byron Scott never gave him that many chances last year.

JR got plenty of chances. He started the first 2-3 months of the season, but he was terrible and wouldn't listen to Scott. He was part of the Chandler trade, but the Bulls let him go right after the trade.
