Possibly the most overrated player in NBA history.

The guy got a bad name for himself because he was a bit overweight later in his career and he was a jacker. Other than that, the man had a flawless game.

So in essence... the Rockets are bigger losers than the Mavs. Not to mention the 2005 gutstomping the Mavs gave to the Rockets.

Winning in 7 games and a one game blowout is not exactly owning. If the Mavs were beating the Rockets like the Spurs do the Suns then you could call it "owning".Still, the Rockets franchise has been overall more successful than the Mavs franchise.

Who gives a shit. Just swallow the fucking whistle. We're talking about a mother fucking championship here, shouldn't come down to ticky tacky bullshit. And that far from the only questionable call in the series.

97 free throws, get the fuck outta here.

What a pussy sport NBA basketball can be at times. As much as we complain about the lack of heart or toughness our beloved Mavs display at times its not as if the Heat had heart. It doesn't take heart to flop your way into 97 FT's. Martial arts boxing and football take heart and toughness, apparently all it takes in basketball is getting breathed on and making some free throws.

Zo doesn't have heart, he's just a pussy who got away with physical play while the Mavs weren't allowed to fucking breathe on D-Whistle. Mavs would look physical too if they weren't shackled by the refs the entire series.

2006 champs bitch

Do you understand how much of a disgrace you are to basketball and maverick fans. Hell you make me hate the mavs you fucking little prick.

Did Jameer Nelson or Devin Harris require a wheelchair when they injured their shoulder...no

As much as we belovd Mavs fans are frustratd ith the FO and players at times, we should really be upset at the whistles.

The Mavs had a propensity for blowing leads. 27 point lead v Lakers @ Staples in 2002, 13 PT 4th quarter lead v Spurs in 2003 playoffs (although Kerr hit bullshit shots and Dirk was out), double digit blown lead v Suns in 2005 playoffs, almost blowing a 3-0 series lead in 2003 v the Blazers.

Hell we almost blew a 20 PT lead in Game 7 v the Spurs... but we held on. That was the moment the Mavs overcame the hump and realized they were champions.

We didn't really blow the lead in Game 3. The whistles simply let the Cheat get back into it. And we didn't really choke in Game 5, Dirk hit a cluch shot and the Cheat were bailed out by a phantom whistle. And we didn't really choke in Game 6, it was just too difficult to overcome Whistle yet again shooting 20+ FT's while Zo was allowed to murder the Mavs on the other end of teh court. Furthrmore the biased officiating was so into our heads at this time that the jumpers simply couldn't fall, which is why the Mavs shot under 40% in Game 6. It is hard to concentrate and overcome 8 on 5, even for the greatest of teams. When you realize your work in offseason, regular season, nd playoff run has been put in jeopardy by th most biased officiating in NBA Finals history, you cannot help but feel it mentally. It doesn't make our team soft mentally, it is just a natural human reaction.

The psyche of the beloved Mavs was shot after that. You see champions usually acquire a swagger when they win it all but the Mavs were robbed of their swagger by the refs. You would think the Cheat would have swagger though eh? Being champions and all? Nope, they proceed to go 44-42 the next year and win 15 games the year after, confirming their championship was a mirage.

The biased officiating of these Finals took something out of the belovd Mavs. Now JET and Dirk don't make jumpers with as much consistency, J-Ho had regressed, and it caused FO blunders such as thinking we needed aging vets on th bench to overcome the hump, caused the Kidd trade, caused us to lose Marquis, etc etc.

Conclusion: Mavs are the 2006 NBA Champs, and if not for the whistles, woudl be working on a 4-peat right now.

Who cares about 1994, 1995, or 2006? Also: none of us bitches have had *anything* to do with shit in the NBA other than dragging our asses to a few games and squeezing into a few t-shirts. Our egos can't be so fragile that it is tied into the collective accomplishments of freakish athletes who literally wouldn't piss on us if we caught on fire right in front of them. I love basketball and root for my team, but I could give a deaf-mute's fuck about proving why franchise A is better than franchise B. It's stupid.

Oh, and fuck the Jazz.
