It looks pretty cool, if they pull it off. It seems awesome, but given what you can do, we'll see how clunky the controls are.

I'm most excited that they brought in Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill for the voice acting. I'd have been pissed if I had to listen to that idiot Christian Bale and some Heath Ledger knockoff.

I just picked up the Collector's Edition from Gamestop, it's probably the longest box a game has ever come in. Outside of Guitar Hero and Rockband but they have their own controller.

That's pretty cheap. Newegg is pretty retarded at times. The less you buy, the cheaper they are. I bought a 20 pack for 23 bucks.

Yeah 59.74 for 50 is sweet from Sams. I don't know where they are made at, but the ones I got from Best Buy worked fine even though they are made in Indonesia instead of Singapore.

Im about half way through this game and I love it. The graphics are the shit, and I never get tired of trying to take out a room with stealth. This game is huge as well. And the Scarecrow parts are freakin awesome.

Guinness announced this morning Batman: Arkham Asylum has become 'Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever' due to its average Metacritic score of 91.67, surpassing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Dreamcast which averaged a score of 90.

"We are so pleased to be awarding Batman: Arkham Asylum a Guinness World Record," said Gaz Deaves, Manager at Guinness. "It is a fantastic new game and due to the reaction of gaming experts we believe it has a well deserved place in the Guinness World Records book,"

Hopefully this news sparks Capcom to want to make Marvel vs. Capcom 3

You get to play the challenge rooms with him, and its quite entertaining.
The Scarecrow parts of the game are freakin brilliant btw.

i don't really play video games so i let my friend play them all for me and i watch while fucking around on the computer...

my friend was pretty bored with batman to begin with but after a couple days he's really into it now and keeps saying how he needs to play it and beat it cause it's getting better and better.

I didn't like the game at first, but it turned out to be pretty bad ass. I felt the story line was a little short, but it was still cool. Now, Im just running around solving all the puzzles and finding all the hidden stuff. OH, and still need to do all the challenge mode stuff. Really fun game. Best comic game ever? Eh,....I don't know about that. I guess I would agree, but only cuz can't think of a really good comic game. Fun game, just felt like it was missing something. :(

Since I'm only through the second Scarecrow fight I'd like to send my sincerest fuck-yous to the people who talked about/spoiled the last one. Bad form; this game came out 10 fucking days ago. At least write "spoiler warning" or something. I'd have liked to have thought my 360 broke too. Oh well, too bad for me...

I wanted to rent it but couldn't find it at Blockbuster or Hollywood, so I just went out and bought it. The game is fucking sick. I just cant get enough of it. Love the fact that they used the voice actors from Batman TAS really adds a lot to the game.

this game looks pretty damn cool, been watching my roomate play it for the last few days. i have no idea why, on god's green earth anyone would make a game with a shitty third person camera like that, though. fun to watch, but i would never be able to play it.

lol same here. I just downloaded it and played it all last night. And only 13% complete. Well at least now im ready for the scarecrow scene

Yes, but they need to fix the camera in tight corners. It zooms in too much, and you can't see when you're getting punched in the head.

And that scene everyone's talking about is just a retrofit from Eternal Darkness. :)

The best "wtf" moment I've ever seen in a videogame was XMen for the Genesis. At the end of the fifth level you get to a giant computer, and the game keeps telling you to reset it. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Finally, I just hit reset on the game console in order to play the level again and see if I missed anything. Lo and behold, the GENESIS was what I needed to reset. Brilliant.
