Dude he is a rookie, its called a learning experience. Hill will be thinking about that mistake for awhile, but at least he was in to be able to make that mistake so that he can learn from it so it wont happen again.

Great game from TP and Manu. Tim played hard too.

I still don't understand the offensive lineups. What is Pop trying to do there? Against the best teams like LA, Boston, Cleveland we will get fucking lit up with no defense out there. If Pop didn't play Bruce against Boston and Houston recently we would have been lit up. This is what I don't understand why did Pop play Bruce against teams like Boston and Houston and not against anyone else? Pop knew we have no chance against those guys with out Bruce so why is he not playing Bruce against anyone else?

Looks like PJ Carlesimo was a big contributor on the Spurs bench. When you replace him with Brett Brown that is not a good thing. I'm sorry Ruff, but I always though Brett Brown was an average coach. It seems Brett was good in his previous role on the Spurs, but I don't know about an assistant coach in the NBA. I'd like PJ back next season for sure.

Intimidation on defense. There is none now and that started in the preseason when Pop looked at guys like Tolliver instead of Watkins. He should have been looking at defensive bigs not offensive guys. Then the final straw was when Pop started Matt Bonner. All defensive intimidation started evaporating at that point. TD not being 100% makes it even worse.

Mugen

even the 2005 version bowen would have struggled with the level if inside help defense we had today.

bowen's age has caught up with him, he's no better then Udoka at this point

Did you watch the Boston and Houston games recently????????????

Bowen was better than udoka ever has been and those games were not that long ago.

DON'T GIVE ME THAT BS. Bruce was a big reason why we had a chance to win those two games.

I think if Cleveland loses by 50 or something, it could really send them into a slump, and if we follow it up with another beat-down, they might not recover, there's some guys on that team that I think aren't all that mentally tough.

cuz we r unaltheltic and passive

Nah, it's b/c the Spurs are notorious for playing to the level of their opponent. Tonight's game is a classic example.

you can point to one or two games and make a good case for any player in the league. but yeah, there are certain guys in the league that Bowen can still defend well, older guys like Pierce and Allen.

Bruce Bowen sighting! I noticed that the defense got strong in the second and the Spurs pulled ahead by 10. Pop sees the same thing, he called the substitution. I am surprised we did not see Bowen in the 4th.
Tony is a beast and really getting as reliable and killer as Manu in a groove. Gooden stood around too much, but did get into a zone on scoring there.
Nice game against a motivated opponent.

What about Ron Artest. He is strong and mobile yet Bruce really locked him down in the second half of that game.

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Pop has not given Bruce the chance to see if he really has lost that step. He hasn't been given consistent court time to show if he's done or not.

He's been playing like this since before the All Star game. He's only had a handful of good games since then.

I can't say it's the move to PG because he was playing like crap before then. It just could be the fact that other teams are paying attention to him now.

that's the kind of game that could unravel a team

Hopefully we can kick them while they're down on Sunday.
