after public scrutiny has finally found the team and the team has acknowledged their recent downturn, we have to come out firing tonight and wipe the floor with the Pacers, right?

statement game? :downspin:

Eh this team is too experienced to believe in statement games against a team like the Pacers....this Sunday though would be a great momentum builder.

Nope, but it would be very nice to see the team play very well. I miss "Spurs" basketball.

Whats considered a blowout?

10?
12?
14?

A blowout is unnecessary for the Spurs. This team is way too intelligent and experienced for a blowout to mean anything. A 5 point win means nothing less to them than a 25 point win. But it would be nice for Spurstalk. :)

Spurs will lead by 10 and blow anything away. That the scenario

I'm not really expecting a Spurs win at this point (Pacers have won 3 of 4) but it would be nice to see...

You're as bad as poop and sequ..you're not expecting the Spurs to beat the Pacers? Wow...

Well, I expected them to beat OKC twice in the last month and was let down. Indiana is a better team than OKC and are at home. Sorry I don't live up to your homer expectations. I will root for them to win but stopped expecting wins months ago...

I'm a homer because I expect a 48-26 team with 2 allstars to beat a 32-43 team with an inferior roster? Seriously? Wake up dude. You're not a fan..no balls dude. You're going to be one of those guys where, if the Spurs win the title..you'll say, I knew it all along, but if they lose, you'll be the first one to say "I told you so." That's not a fan..that's a convenient fan..a bandwagon fan, if you will.

I hope so many players foul out that Pop is forced to play Bowen.

I wish you luck in finding those qoutes in any of those scenarios...I'll be sure to ask for your permission next time I feel like rooting for a team since you are apparently the ruler of all things fan-dom. Keep drinking the kool-aid dude, I'm sure it tastes good... :rolleyes

when's the last time we've held an opponent to less than 25 pts in the 1st quarter?

haha, i member the times when 20 pts allowed in the 1st was a let down. us spurs fans are still kinda used to the 14 1st quarter points allowed :lol
