It's too late in the season. All year has been trying to plug up holes in the offense, defense, player rotations, injuries, etc....

Spurs are obviously NOT at the peak of their game, as a team, from head coach all the way down to the rookie. This team's identity has been like a ghost, no one alone or with the team has been able to grab a hold and ride it through the season.

Sure, the Spurs can gain some momentum to carry into these last 7 games but at this point it doesn't look probable, actually it looks almost impossible.

The first round will be key. The Spurs SHOULD have all 5 starters together for the series (ps to Pop -- PLEASE bench the "findawg" and start Bruce w/ Mace off the bench)

This team can come together and find their true identity in the first round/round and 1/2. It's the only chance left at this point. Believe That.
