This will no doubt be one of the best Duncan interviews for basketball fans (not just Spurs fans) to see!

It carries much more weight than those over-hyped Garnett interviews that were shoved down our collective throats during last years finals. It was downright sad to see what I personally consider the greatest basketball player (or champion if you don't agree) in history being asked to interview this cocky, foul-mouthed, selfish, self-important ass of an athlete. It's not like Russell was gonna say 'no', he's one of the nicest guys on the planet, and he genuinely seems interested in sharing his experiences as a human being and as a champion. What was sad about it was the complete contrast of character displayed. It was sad watching Garnett, and maybe the producers of the show, uncomfortably try to give himself a likeable personality. The kind of personality that Duncan oozes without pounding his chest, slapping the hardwood and taunting point-guards, or screaming 'yeah muthafucka' every time he dunks. And because Duncan isn't insecure and doesn't cry for the spotlight, this probably won't get as much attention. Sadly.

Wow wow wow wow. I usally keep things in perspective when it comes to sports. You know its just a game and it can't help you pay the rent or solve real world problems. But fuck did I get moved when Russell told the story of J. Robinson and then told Tim how he feels about him. Wow Wow wow. F kobe, f shaq, f lerbron. Hell f jordan. This is the man telling it how it is. Wow. I can't believe abc is going to air this. WOW.

They said in the pregame that there would be "more at halftime", then they didn't run it and didn't say a word about it.

When it was filmed I thought they'd run it during the Playoffs, maybe that's what they're going to do.

I'm going to stick around for the Suns/Mavs game in case they run it then. It doesn't make sense to run it during that game but who knows.
