I just found out that a very close friend has cancer.

The friend is an older gentleman who goes to our church. He and his wife have taken a paternal type interest in Bo and I and have been very kind friends to both us.

On Friday the 13th, the couple had to put their dog to sleep that they had had for almost fifteen years and was like a child to them. ( I am sure many of you pet owners understand.)

So they had just begun to recover from that loss to learn this week that the husband has cancer and has to begin chemo therapy.


Please pray for them both. Their names are Richard and Debra.

Sorry for the hard news angel. It's nice that you and Bo are in their lives, friendship can bring comfort. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.

Someone I work with just got diagnosed with Grade 1 Non Hodgkins (follicular)Lymphoma, please keep him and his family in your prayers.
