"I tell you Dwyane is a phenomenon, if he's not talked in terms of the MVP then I think they really not giving a fair assessment of the mvp. Nomatter what you can say about his team, you take him away from his team I'm pretty sure they would not be as successful as you take away LeBron and you take away Kobe....I'm pretty sure those teams would still be competitive. Not to speak down on his teammates, just in terms of how much he represents offensively and defensively on their team and the leadership. So that, for whatever reason never goes into consideration of the MVP, and I think that should have some real hardcore understandings that this kid each and everyday if he's not playing they don't have a chance to win, and then when he does then they can beat anybody on the basketball court."

Why not give it Dirk, or CP3 as well. They both have better records in tougher conferences and their teams would be hopeless without them.
Take Dirk CP3 and Wade out of their respective teams, which team would suffer more?

Kwame Brown.
Adam Morrison.
Don't forget Darius Miles and Rodney White. I know he didn't draft them, but he made it clear he thought they were both going to be superstars.

Mavs. Dirk is the only serious talent on the team. Hornets still have Posey, West, Pedja, and Tyson. Heat still have Charmers, Beasley, Oneal.
wtf. CP3 , hornets suck ass without cp3.
Ok, the Heat aren't that good and I never really liked wade before this season.
You have to WATCH the games. I swear to god the guy is just UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE. If it takes half of our salary cap to land this guy here i wouldn't even care.
Wade 4 MVP

I saw Wade go scoreless during the final 5:41 against the Mavs. an MVP wouldn't do that. Josh Howard scored more points in the final 5:41 than D-Whistle, an MVP wouldnt let that happen.

He did go apeshit on the Mavs when it mattered the most, when real men step up
That 1 on 5 was fun to watch

He's easily the greatest player of all-time... and possibly the worst GM.

And?
How did Magic Johnson's rings and MVPs help him as a coach?
How many NBA titles did Gregg Popovich have as an NBA player?
Being a great player doesn't mean he's a great evaluator of talent. Jordan thought Courtney Alexander was a great player too.

Coming from the human being on the planet with the biggest gap between his individual talent and his talent for evaluating NBA talent.

by what means do you want to get Wade or CP out of their teams? abducting their families and force them to trade their franchise players for a couple of garbages like what the Lakers did in 07 to grizzlies?

Actually, having 5 mvps shows he knows what it takes to get those mvp.

Knowing what it takes for him as a player to get an MVP is different from evaluating another player as an MVP candidate.
He also knew what it took to be a great player period. That didn't prevent him from thinking Adam Morrison was a better player than Brandon Roy or Rudy Gay.

Well you can't use that as an excuse to say Michael Jordan doesn't have the right to judge MVP Candidates. Your example right there is from a GM standpoint and we all know Jordan Blows as a GM. His judging on Wade is from a player standpoint and we all know he was a great player.
Wade has a ring
+ He was already Finals MVP.
Its pretty crazy, you would think that wade has something to prove but he has already achieved the league's greatest and most prestigious award.

Why not?
Both involve evaluating players.
Jordan knows what it takes for himself to be a great player and an MVP. His opinion about Wade is still an evaluation of another player. You said it yourself, "judging." Not doing, but judging. There is more evidence that Jordan is not very good at "judging" players as he is being a player.

Nice choice of words, "real men" . I suppose all of us are fake men since we don't step up in the NBA Finals :rolleyes
But no, all he did in the NBA Finals was shoot some undeserved FT's. Give me 97 free throws and I'll look like Jordan too. No skill required to do that.
^ Why didn't Dirk do that? He was the best FT shooter at the time and why did he miss the game tying FT?

CP3 and Dirk deserve it just as much as Wade, of course no media source would let you know that. LeBron ftw.

And what was the outcome of that game?
Why did Wade miss the FT's at the end of Game 6?
Didn't the heat win Game 6 and didn't Wade avg 36 ppg on closee to 50% shooting during the series?

They tend to forget that D Wade plays in the Eastern Conference hence weaker opponents but still can't bring his team to a great record :lol
