Finley on LeBron? What the fuck? I hope we lose every single game left in the season big until Pop learns Finley ain't shit and has no business guarding anyone with any offensive skill whatsoever. Popovich, you ignorant slut.

no kidding...that interview after the 1st quarter was mind-numbing. YES IT'S CRAZY POP...when someone scores 14 freaking points easily in one quarter you need to make some changes

worst coaching decision of Pop's career (relegating Bowen to spot minutes). The only thing worse than that smug look on his face were the word's he uttered about the plan staying the same. Hopefully Bowen's just being saved for the playoffs ...

Pop must have gone down to Boys Town with Finley and killed a hooker or something. Udoka must have seen it too, as I can't see any other way either would get the perimeter stopper minutes they've gotten today. :pctoss

At first I was mad but then I just had to start laughing at watching Finley try to guard LeBron. I said LeBron would easily score 50 on Finley. Now after seeing it, LeBron could go for Wilt's 100 if Finley guarded him for 40 minutes.

Oh and yeah Jacque Vaughn at backup point guard. Does Pop not see that no one is fvckin' guarding him? They're not even guarding him when he brings the ball up the court now. And Vaughn can't guard anyone either.

I've been a Pop supporter since Day 1 but right now he's coaching not only the worst basketball of his career but he's probably coaching worse than any coach in the NBA.

Well he may do that since Finley played 19 of 24 minutes.

This one of the most pathetic things that I see as a Spurs fan

even if we lose by 30, pop wont do anything.

he's probably set in his rotations and is just going to say "we are missing shots"

Its mind blowing. I know of absolutely no reason to put Finley on Lebron or JV in this game (or any game for that matter). I just couldn't have predicted this because it makes ZERO sense.

Even worse than putting Finley on LeBron was him putting Udoka on him in the second quarter.

I'm not sure what Pop is trying to prove...They've got:

Tim
Drew
Finley
Manu
Parker

That's enough of an offensive line up to put Bruce in there.

It just doesn't make any sense.

I was on the play Bowen camp but after he missed that 1 foot jumper, I can see why Pop's not playing him. maybe it was all the rust build up from not playing in so long? it happens...:wakeup

I just got done watching it. Painful indeed. I basically had the same reaction timvp had...just giggling and chuckling while Lebron dropped like 16 straight on him. By the time Pop had the passing thought of putting Bowen on him it was way too late.

On to the Summer League.
