For what?

Leaving the bench during an altercation. Even Legler was starting to bring that up.

What altercation? The hard foul by Sczerbiak on Parker? There was no altercation.
no fight broke out
no suspension
IMO
The altercation occured after Wallyworld committed a hard (but admittedly clean) foul on Beno Udrih, knocking him into the cameras. The entire bench leaped up and Tim took a couple steps out onto the court while teamates held onto him. Wally went to help Beno up, but Bruce Bowen intervened and thus, a small spat broke out and a double-technical was assigned to Bruce and Wally.

Will Garnett be suspended by the T Wolves for not showing up for the game?
sickdsm

Udih, not parker. Bowen shoved Wally and there was two T's thrown out. If that isn't an altercation i don't know what is.
If its possibe to get suspended for getting up to leave when he seemingly thinks the game is over, how is that not one?

11 of the first 16 points. More like will the rest of the team not showing up.
Avoid the subject all you want, all i know is Legler was starting to bring that fact up before he was cut off. Theres a legitamte threat of a one gamer.
Will Garnett be suspended by the T Wolves for not showing up for the game?

If Duncan is suspended I think it will be one game. But the spurs play the bobcats it should be a win with or without him.

There's a legitimate threat that if Tim is suspended for the whole playoff season, other teams might have a chance.

There wasn't a fight dumbass.
It'd be like a player getting off the bench and helping a teammate up.
Only if there's a fight and the player runs on the court will they be suspended.
Two players talking trash to eachother is not a fight.
Sick.... your team sucks... there's not hope for them. Not even if they suspend Duncan. Go home and do what you do everynight, cry into your pillow.

Bowen didn't shove Wally. He blocked off Wally from going to Beno (Bowen's back was to Wally) Wally and Bowen jawed at each other and both got techs. Bowen and Wally had been going at it all night.

Duncan will probably get suspended for one game.

I doubt it.

Probably not.
The chance of Duncan getting suspended is about the same as you getting laid before you turn 30. Not very high. Very very low. About a .00001 percent chance.

The "leaving the bench" rule involves a fight erupting. There wasn't a fight.

he's right. players leave the bench all the time when a teammate makes a spectacular play. i think it has to involve a fight to get a suspension

I didn't see if he went out on the court but if it's close, they'll probably suspend him for one game.
Luckily, the Spurs play the Bobcats next. Even without Duncan and Manu, the Spurs can handle that game.

I think Duncan got up to see if Beno was okay, not to intervene with the "fight" (or whatever you want to call it). I don't think he'll get suspended.

You know, I would say you all are on crack for even speculating on this, in fact I was about too. Then I remembered how stupid the league was last year and the TD/ref incident.
Who knows?

^^ exactly.
But suspend Duncan, and Beno.
Such troublemakers.
Classic coming from a fan of a team with a shitface like Latrell Sprewell.

Yeah... Legler also said Garnett blocked Tim's shot and that the ball was not near the cylinder...
Tim was trying to tell the refs that Garnett blocked it only after the ball had started its descent...
Legler completely misread that play....

If anything, it's like the incident in Dallas during the 2003 WCF where David Robinson stepped on the floor during a little fracas. Some thought David would be suspended for that and it turned out to be nothing. It's incidental.
If the league suspends Duncan for that, it's being awfully petty.

I liked the fact the entire bench freaked out at that foul.
I doubt there'll be any suspensions -- if there is, who cares? The Slovenian Playboy guys probably want to see more of Rasho vs. Brezec anyway.

I agree, last night the Spurs showed toughness. They are there for each other, they take offense at hard fouls, they really got into the defense, (I thought TP was outstanding) and put to rest any bullshit about being soft. They manhandled that team.

The problem isn't whether he stood up off the bench. It is whether he was on the court or not. A player from the bench is not allowed to be on the court. I was watching the game on ESPN and when they showed the replay, it looked awfully close. And it didn't look like he was just going to see if udrih was okay. He was ticked. I don't know if he will be suspended or not, but it is possible.

True, but that was the same problem that existed with David's incident in 2003. David had actually taken at least one step onto the floor and was pulled back by a teammate. But David wasn't suspended. I can't see why Tim would be if he showed no sign of making an effort to become involved in the "fracas." I can see why some would want Tim suspended, and I can't say I'd dispute a decision by which Tim was suspended, but I also don't think that it necessarily must follow that Tim must be suspended.

Not to make this post long, but I agreewith you From..., I was just saying that technically he could be suspended. Not that he probably will. But if the league happens to review it. They would be within their right to give him a game suspension.
