I know how all of you spurs fan feel, and I also know spurs's fans support our team no matter what, but I see most of you are disappointed with our team performance and with a good reason.

That's why I am making this thread, I have some reasons to be happy from today's loss.

A third place suits us better than a second!

I 'd rather play Houston, Portland or even New Orleans in the first round than Utah or Dallas.

Can we win in Denver? I am not so sure that Denver will make it to the second round, Dallas and Utah are tough outs right now.

Is Pop a bad coach? Pop is an awesome coach, is he perfect no! But trust me pop is the best coach in the game right now, wait till TD and Manu are back to 80 or 90%, and our rotation is fixed -- which will come no later than the end of the first round, that's what I think. We will use the first round to fine tune our game, that's why home court is not important what's important is an easier opponent most likely New Orleans.

I'd rather play Dallas than New Orleans every single time.

Pop is in a weird slump right now, and it's infuriating to watch the rotation fall into confusion, but at the end of the day he's still a great coach and hopefully he can get things back together. Anyone thinking we're better without him is crazy. The majority of the coaches are lightweights. I'll stick with Pop.

I trust POP, but I just don't know what he is doing. He needs to get the rotation fixed before the end of the year, I don't even know how the rotation became a problem. :flag: bring us a :lobt2:

Portland is about to lose and go to 48-28. Houston beat them so they're going to 49-28. So we are still in 3rd place. The Rox also have a tough game coming up against Orlando on Tuesday so we should keep hold of this 3rd seed.

I can see why many would agree with that, but not the Spurs. The Mavs are just a bad match up for us, Dirk has the most 30 or more games against the spurs than any other NBAer.

We beat NO last year and I can't say they have improved since then, this time its going to be 4-1.

I'll trust pop until we slip down to 4th seed. Then pop will have to stop all this fucking mad experiments and get his mojo going. If he still stick to his current gameplan, then he'll be planning a winery trip early this summer.

You know, I'm still wondering how much it is a slump on his coaching, or he's just bored with the regular season, or what. I mean, yes, it's frustrating, but you absolutely know we're not going to have a 14 men rotation in the playoffs, and he still has given no hint whatsoever who are going to make that rotation. I originally thought Bowen was done and so was Hill, yet he found minutes for both in games we won (Indiana) and lost (Cavaliers). Udoka still plays, so does Jacque Vaughn. It's like he's taking a final look at everybody. I think he sees so many up and downs that he's still not convinced enough to settle on something. Udoka had a stretch of 2 or 3 good games, then comes back with garbage. Mason was great early in the season, but now he is off.
I think it's clear he doesn't care about seeding at all, just as long as he can take a good look at everybody and hopefully make the right decisions come playoff time.
I'll reserve judgement until I see who we play in the first round, and what lineup(s) he throws out there.

Pop made the smartest decision he could ever make in reserving Manu and Tim. It's just a regular season game for both teams of spurs and cavs, and it won't be added to the postseason matchups even though the cavs won by as much as 20pts.

In Pop, I trust

I just wish he's got explanation on why he isnt playing Bruce Bowen much
And why play JV?

Cant the media ask him questions?

But still, I believe in this team

If we lose vs oklahoma, i wont watch any more regular season games of spurs

And wait till the playoffs, and hope they get the rotation fixed and of course about 80-90% of TD and manu

The spurs have won 4 titles under Pops coaching...
I'll trust him all the way into the playoffs.
But it's starting to become more and more clear how
the rotation will look in the playoffs.
All I know is that Udoka and JV will NOT be a part of it.

I can't really trust Pop's coaching right now since Bowen has always been an integral part of the Spurs. I thought benching him and limiting his minutes was to give way for the new guys (Hill and Mason) to get integrated in the Spurs system. Yet, seeing that Hill and Mason isn't quite integrated yet in the system because of too much variable rotation even this late in the regular season, I can't be really comfortable with Pop's coaching right now.

Pop is Great!! He is the best coach out there, we should not give up on him now by panicking like some crazy maniacs. He is the best thing we have and we should have faith in him. GO POP

I also still trust him and his system. Of course, the loss hurts, but I still have faith in him and the Spurs. Hopefully, our Spurs will go as far as the championship this year. Do it for us, fans. Go Spurs Go!

I trust Pop. He's just saving George Hill until the playoffs.
