The Spurs have been a winning team for quite some time. Since the Spurs first Championship in 1999 to their most current in 2007, Spur fans have long expected the Spurs to be in the playoffs every year, and barring any injuries, have a chance to win it all.

Despite the pundits calling the Spurs old and boring, the most current Spurs have proven that hard work on the back of the great Captain TD, and the awesome TP and Ginobili, anything is possible for the Spurs and its small market base. The Spurs have been one of the winningest sports franchise in history. Quite a feat for such a small market and for such a "boring" team. The Spurs have spoiled their fans.

But this year the Spurs have been plagued with injuries, and the seasons quickly coming to an end in a most disappointing fashion, many fans are throwing in the towel. Injuries or not, some Spurs fans even question the heart of our great 3 players dispelling the notion that injuries and rhythm have cast their ugly spell on this team.

Whatever the case, the Spurs are not looking like the Spurs we have become accustomed to. The players great coach, Pop, is also being thrown to the firepit with some questionable rotational decisions that have left most basketball afficionados perplexed.

Knowing what you know about the the big 3, i.e. Duncan "the warrior's" tendonosis, Parker's peaking, Manu searching for his former self, the Lakers playing ready and steady, the new emerging teams of the West and East, answer the questions below:

1. How many titles, if any, can the Spurs big 3 still win together?
2. Is the Spurs' season a total failure if they don't win the LOB trophy?

1 more ring minimum... and no it wouldn't be a failure to go through a couple of stages in the PO with a hobbled TD...

if they can win one, there is no ceiling. But this year is going to be almost borderline impossible, with the injury to TD. Parker is trying to step it up, and I believe he can, and I know manu will be back to his best by the PO (he takes some time to get his rhythm back each time he goes out, on the positive side, ankles look great). But we are who we are, and mason, finley, and bonner need to shoot the three ball atleast at 40% and gooden, thomas, need to rebound and make up for TD. And every one needs to pitch in on D.
