IMO, looking at the schedules(which is meaningless, since upsets are frequent in the NBA)

#2- Nuggets: 54-28
#3- Spurs: 54-28
#4- Houston: 52-30
#5- Blazers: 51-31
#6- Dallas: 50-32
#7- Utah: 49-33
#8- NO: 48-34

this would make a very interesting first round..

Lakers vs. Hornets would be a very entertaining series..
Nuggets vs. Jazz has the division rivalry and hatred..
Spurs vs. Dallas would be entertaining..hatred and rivalry..
Blazers vs. Rockets are 2 evenly matched teams..

Homer to the death. Sweep remaining games and end up #2

55-27

I think Denver's schedule is too easy for them to drop the #2 spot. They only have two tough games left against the Lakers and Blazers. And everyone from the 4 spot to the 8 spot has tough schedules so I think we'll end up with the 3 seed still.

okay,

W - spurs: 95 thunder: 88 (i think the spurs are kind of sick of losing to these guys)

W - spurs: 100 blazers: 99 (spurs edge them out because it will be a playoff atmosphere and spurs will treat it like a playoff game)

L - spurs: 88 jazz: 92 (jazz are really feeling it now, i believe the spurs can beat them, but will they?)

W - spurs: 110 kings: 90 (spurs match up easily with the kings and should have no trouble)

W - spurs: 120 warriors: 117 (spurs will find a way to outplay the warriors fast paced offense)

L - spurs: 96 hornets: 98 (it's the last game, timmy and manu will most likely rest)

being realistic but at the same time, optimistic cuz i think the tough schedule down the stretch will be a wake-up call for the spurs. :)

OK I'm pretty sure the Spurs are sick and tired of losing to the damn Thunder so they should be able to win that game. Portland blows on the road, so I hope we pull that one out. Utah..another team who blows on the road..especially in S.A so I think we can pull that one out. If the Spurs could somehow go 5-0 against OKC, Por, Utah, Sac, and GS...we could rest the big 3 the last day of the season and probably have the 3 seed locked up.
