The most important part in all of that is the advice to allow your body to completely heal. And the people who talk about returning slowly:
It sounds like you have a good plan, meaning a very cautious plan. I followed the Pfitzinger rehab plan, which progresses from a very easy walk/run schedule of 5 to 10 minutes, to 50 minutes of running in 7 weeks. This might seem really slow, but I tried to go faster and it cost me another month.
It's what I said when they announced the injury. A slow, steady increase in minutes. And maybe they could have had Manu for 15 minutes in the playoffs. But even that would have made a big difference.

Ginobilil's summer:
Rest,
Calcium supplements and sufficient Vitamin D intake (with adequate solar activation),
Eating beets (for a revitalization of his bone marrow)
Eating apples for an increase in his system's pectin concentration...
Reparagen (concoction of Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM and collagen) so that the ligaments in his ankles continue healing and so that the thin collagen layer around his ankle bones forms a stronger protective coat than the original...
