I think they will fall to the 5th seed and the Blazers will face them. With Ginobili out and Duncan hobbled it will be like a free pass to the 2nd round. :smokin

Plus Ginobili was playing crap when he came back, so he doesn't really count.

Spurs fans will have another excuse as to why they didnt win a championship again...just like last year it will be bc of an injured Manu

Spurs will float between 4 and 6 seed, which could mean anyone from Houston to New Orleans to Portland. A Blazers/Spurs series would be interesting.

What wonderful fantasies you conjure, Tlong. You should write fiction.

What a douche. If I recall correctly, Manu was out for most of the season this year, and we held on to the 2 seed without him, including beating Boston IN BOSTON!! Wake the hell up. I hope with this attitude you don't plan on cheering for the Spurs in the Playoffs. We don't need you dragging us down.

I agree with the spirit of your argument, but I'd like to point out that Manu was in that Boston game. (He drew the clear path foul from Pierce after he stole the inbounds from Allen.)

In any case, the Spurs aren't an easy out for anyone...but I do hope that whoever we get in the first round comes into the series with that attitude. :lol

What will your excuse be? Hell, forget I asked.
Even with your team healthy, you still haven't proven you can win Championships.:lol

sons, the spurs need to play the rockets in the first round.. I think they would have a decent shot with the rockets IMO.

Probably the Blazers or the Hornets. I think it would pretty interesting and entertaining to see the Spurs play the Nuggets in the 1st round mainly because the Nuggets would love to get some payback.

If the Spurs lose in the 1st round, it will be the first time that's happened since 2000. They've had a pretty impressive streak of not getting bounced in the 1st round. I honestly don't think the Spurs will go out in the 1st round because they have too much pride and talent to get bounced in the 1st round. If Scottie Pippen can get the Bulls to the 2nd round without Jordan then I'm sure Duncan get can get the Spurs to the 2nd round.

It's not like "the 2nd round" is on the top of Mount Everest, you know. The other team plays a role.

The '94 Bulls played a team featuring Mark Price and some mediocre sidekicks - Gerald Wilkins and Chris Mills and Tyrone Hill. The Spurs won't get so lucky unless they face the Nuggets.
