I heard what happened to your player and its sad. But now that you lost a good player in Manu. What do you guys have to do to step up your game in the playoffs.

Its obvious we are limping into the playoffs... I wouldn't be surprised if we fell to the 7th seed and ended up finally losing to Denver in the first round!

the spurs just have to make some shoots, they'll be fine

even with all of their big 3 done the spurs would still be a better team than the bulls, Manu's absence actually will make the spurs less competitive than Lakers and our boys in blue though.

Mason goes back to starting, Manu's minutes will be split between Hill/Bowen/Udoka (in some combination or other). I think we'll still (barely) hold on to a top 4 seed and probably win a tough 1st rd series and lose badly in the semis.

The Spurs are NOT a one man team. Not a surprise though that so many are jumping ship already. Not me!!

I don't think anyone said they are a "one man" team. The Spurs problems were apparent before Manu was out for the year...this just adds on to it.

Actually, with Tim badly hobbled, we practically are a one man team now :p:

There is no VIABLE backup plan. The Spurs put almost all of their eggs in the basket of the Argentian piece of shit. Hopefully Pop learns from this.

What do they do now? Suck it up, get their heads together and play hard..that's all they can do at this point. Manu is gone for the year; they have to move on and they will. :)

Good news is that the NFL draft is coming soon for a couple of days my mind and heart will be elsewhere.

Pop's plan is likely to play Finley for 48 minutes every game from now on. :downspin:

Just kidding (at least I hope this is a joke); we hopefully will get to see what Hill, Mason Jr., Gooden and Hairston will be able to do in the Playoffs.

Pop is going to borrow a clone machine from the CIA and make 5 Finley's to be backed up by 5 Vauhgn's and then he'll IR everyone else.

How many times has Timmy and Parker been an all star and finals MVP? Even if you answered 1 for each of them that still 1 more than Manu. He isnt the heart and soul of the team, we will be fine.

All we have to do is put the ball into the basket more times than the other team does... that's it.

My plan is the same it is every year, watch the Spurs for as long as they are playing, then start the countdown to NFL training camp.

Bring over Gist and sign Rasheed or Gooden.
