If I have to choose, I go NY too.

Back in SA, the best NY style I had was at Little Italy.

I can eat almost any pizza...doesn't really matter to me. You can put pepperoni and 9 mm bullets on it and I'd prob still eat it.

little italy is really good. love the little sampler slice they give you as an appetizer.

florio's (broadway/basse area) is pretty good ny style. they're from nj iirc. sometimes they don't say thanks when you leave too, so you know it's authentic east coast. no southern folksiness equating to things like canned sauce

dough (blanco/410) is worth checking out too. fancy toppings like arugula and speck, good wine, pleasant atmosphere. good date pizza spot.

volare (broadway & stone oak) - good for pizza with a little variety in the ingredients (from pesto sauce - oysters) varied menu makes the place imo.

miss ellies (bitters & heimer) - good ny style

I love CPK. At the restaurants they have a chicken club pizza (grilled chicken, bacon, tomato, avocado, and lettuce) that is delicious. Sounds weird because of the lettuce, which is obviously added after the baking, but is yummy yummy. Thai Chicken pizza is also good.

The Carne Asada pizza is suprisingly good. I tried it on a whim not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The Greek pizza is also pretty damn good.

Well if anyone here has the delivery chain pizza phobia like I do, you gotta try Domino's new one. I was in a desperate situation this weekend and had to do it, but man was I surprised! I got the thin crust and I will get it again :tu

Pacific Veggie Pizza
Made with roasted red peppers, spinach, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and black olives with feta, mozzarella and provolone cheeses on a cheesy Parmesan crust. Cheesy crust not available on thin crust for Domino's American Legends(TM)
