With Manu out, I can only assume that Malik Hairston will be activated. If we're gonna go out, I say let's go out in flames and use the young guys to see what they got.

I don't think the spurs need to dig out a benchwarmer from their attic, or even take a d-leaguer. spurs have a big rotation which always includes 10-11 rosters, which will be very enough to play the playoff games well considering the average time of every player will be raised there. a rotation of 8-9 rosters is very common to be used in the playoffs, maybe the spurs need 10 because of their ages, but they still can afford even a 11-roster rotation.

Tim/Bonner/Bowen/Mason/Tony Longoria as lineups

KT/Gooden/Fin/Udoka/Hill/Hairston off the bench.

if a player is out for the year, doesnt that automatically open up a roster spot if it happens prior to the playoffs?

The Spurs would have to apply for an exception from the league to get an extra roster spot, and that only usually happens if you have 3-4 players out for the year.

That's the first piece of an interview they did in SA March 21. There will be more of it shown through the Playoffs. The video, and a pic, are in the Duncan Mini Forum. :)

So does anyone know how the fuck MW will make a full roster? I'm hoping for Fab/JV to be waived, Hill/Hairston/Ian would make sense money-wise, but I hop Pop can convince Holt their ceiling it too high for any to be dropped. If Kori is right about there needing to be 3 injured players, then the Spurs don't qualify for the extra spot due to injuries.
