View Full Version : The Spurs are 17-16 without Ginobili

Consider these issues: 1. The Spurs are 32-11 when Ginobili plays but only 17-16 when he's out. 2. Tim Duncan (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=215)'s nagging quad problem has limited him to some very un-Duncan-like production of late. (Witness his double-single against the Cavs on Sunday.) 3. The Spurs have lost some key games lately even with Ginobili in the mix. Thus, the Spurs' odds of surviving two playoff rounds in the West to get to the conference finals look increasingly suspect.

Duncan looked springy tonight. And I like the fact that Pop stopped experimenting, and seems to have started to set a rotation.
Obviously, we beat Oklahoma, so you can't draw a lot of conclusions from tonight, but there were real good signs out there. Like Bowen being back in the rotation.

you forget about gooden, only time will tell, but the remaining games will set the tone for the playoffs

Well, Bowen will no doubt get his minutes increased (even though I figured Pop was just waiting on the playoffs to do so anyway) and other guys will just have to step up.

of those 33 games without Ginobili, Parker missed 7 and Duncan 4, so take that 17-16 record whichever way you want it.

No, I don't think I saw it. I didn't see anything that made you look bad. It's all good.
